Now get us a RT, pass rusher and WR. Our secondary is looking dirty, dirty! Need a pass rusher bad so revis can have 1000+ ints. Need a Rt bad so tebow can run the gator, do some praying and Greene can put them to sleep!

Today, is a new day and new opportunities. I love where we are going.

We're worse at safety today than we were last season. Landry is better than Smith but we currently have no FS on the roster. Might want to remove that check. But at least we have a backup QB to run the jesuscat.

Yeah we also need an MLB (Scott is a goner) an RT, a real 2nd running back, a Free Safety (at least one) a backup lineman and a pass rusher.

No problem with our first 3 draft picks, we'll fill all those holes.

I wouldn't mind seeing Leonhard for another year. He won't be expensive, n if health, can be used for depth purpose. From what I've read, Jets are high on Tracy Wilson. They can also draft an SS early in the draft and have a 3-way competition in the OTAs/training camp. We can't be worse than last year. Already upgraded FS and SS can only get better as Jim was average last year.

Landry plays FS or SS? I've seen him listed both, never really paid attention in to the hand full of games I've seen him play.

He's played FS, but he's a SS and a good one when healthy. Hit's like a mack truck. He isn't going to solve any coverage problems except for maybe a little intimidation factor.

If we get Leonhard back we'll be in much better shape, but we'd also have 2 injury riddled safeties as starters.

Did I miss something? When did the Jets upgrade the FS position. They signed Landry who, like Smith, is a SS. BTW, who is Tracy Wilson?

Yea I completely missed that - how the hell did we upgrade at FS? We're worse at FS right now than we were last year.

Agreed. Landry was a very nice pickup -- in Rex's defense he'll be like James Ihedigbo on steroids (literally) -- but he can't cover for shit. And, frankly, it's foolish to expect him to play more than 10 games this year based on his injury record.

We are desperately in need of a free safety who can play center field for us. It doesn't matter how good Revis and Cro play, until we find an answer in the middle of the field teams will continue to torch us underneath and with tight ends.

We still have our four big needs: RT, WR, S, and pass rusher. Get to work Tanny!

Yeah I thought Landry was a FS. I take my words back. We upgraded SS, not FS. Need to draft a good cover FS.

With less draft picks after getting Tebow I'm a bit concerned. How exactly do we fill RT, OLB, FS, ILB? Plus we still should draft another RB and WR. Things are looking a bit scary right now. Tebow isn't even going to be a full time RB. Mcknight and Greene will be a decent combo, but we could use a 3rd reliable one.

We should have 1 or 2 compensatory picks. I can't remember where I read it but there should be one at the end of the 4th and one afterwards.

I'll google and see what I can come up with.

Tebow is not a RB, he’s a wildcat QB. We still dont have a #1 RB.

And we still dont have a cover/FS which is what we severely needed.

But I guess you can look at it that way...

Yea with signing Landry and not Nelson I have to think we are signing Leonhard back. I'm not too worried about his injury problems because both were just kind of bad luck. He's not the kind of player that continuously has nagging injuries or anything like that. Just bad timing. I still remember seeing him intercept the pass then have his leg lifted up like that I knew right away he was done.
