Today I have lost faith in this entire Jets regime, from Tanny to Woody to Ryan to Soprano. I have lost all respect for their football intelligence and their common sense. They are all feeding us a line of BS when they say they want to fix the locker room and that they support Sanchez. I was a supporter of this group until today, but now I question their ability to build a winning team. When holes on the team are to filled and a good draft is needed, this group is out chasing the likes of Favre, Asomaugh, Tebow, all to grab headlines and sell PSLs and jerseys. Color me jaded.
Yes this is quite the cluster fuck. Agree the jets will have a giant western omelette on their face..... One thing is clear, trader mike and woody are out of control and anything goes. Me thinks he is a jag by 8:30. But the scar will last a long time from this nonsense.
Im pretty sure rex ryan has thick enough skin to run the team the way he wants.... the media or fans will not influence his desicion making
Do you know how much shit I have taken for saying this from the git? Calling Woody a cheap fuk who cares about nothing but the bottom line. and I get "oh it's ok he's a business man" Really? Fuk that. We had the chance to have our own stadium in NYC or In Jersey but he nixed that and goes 50% w/ the other team Then it's all about PSL's and Fuks the long term JETS fans on their senority. SELL SELL SELL... that's all this fuk has done since day 1....It's sickening
You don't get it. The desire to fuel the media and fans has already influenced the decision making. And I just heard Schlereth on ESPN and he said that the pressure put on the CS in Denver was enormous from day one of training camp. He said on the first day of camp, when Orton came out of the locker room after the first practice, the fans booed him mercilessly. Then when Tebow came out, the fans went nuts. Then it only got worse. There is no way another QB can succeed and a locker room can unify under those circumstances. This is a colossal screw up by the Jets and I only hope that it is temporary because the contract snafu. Then its back to repairing the locker room, again. This is getting old. I want a real coach, a real GM, and an owner that wants to win rather than grab headlines and sell expensive seats in a stadium that was built to attract millionaires. Instead we have an owner who like Steinbrenner circa 1985.
I still don't understand why everyone is freaking out. Everybody thinks it's the end of the world or something. I like the trade( if we don't have to pay the $5 mil of course). Wild Cat comes back and with the best person to run it. He is also a leader. Maybe he can help Sanchez grow some balls. Tebow is a team first guy and will do anything to help his team win. Stop freaking out people...it is not bad...far from it actually.
None of this has anything to do with the location of the stadium. NYC turned the Jets down. Going 50% with the Giants was the only option he had other than being a tenant again. The stadium location issue is a red herring. Everything else is true.
It's weird that it took a trade that may or may not even happen to put a dent in the fans faith in the people running the Jets organization. Not everybody, but people that have been very faithful, loyal and positive on here. A lot of the Sunshiners even seem to have doubts today. Weird, weird day.
