Tbh I'll let the media support him and won't stop bashing him until he retires. He's a Gaytor for life.
I do like the concept of calling some extra wildcat plays if a speedy pass rusher is dominating our O-Line (the right side in particular).
If that's true, totally my bad. ESPN (like 15 min ago) reported it as he said it after the trade. That's why it grabbed my attention.
I just want to say for the record RocklandJetsFan you suck for putting this thought into our heads in the first place!!! FU lol
bingo, this says it like it should have been. the circus not only continues, it gets greater. and you can't say it isn't to be the qb of the future, because sanchez either comes out manninguesq, or the tebow calls get deafening. personally, i don't think he's any worse than sanchez, but neither of them are nfl qb's. jets making all the wrong circus moves and message boards everywhere are roaring with laughter. check them out, it's amusing.
He needs to start a "We should trade for an elite pass rusher, a free safety, and the best RT in the league" thread. We have our soothsayer.
the thing is, the whole league has had an off season to prep for tebow time and anyone expecting what happened in denver is dreaming!
Not the analysis I expected on ESPN... http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/story/_/id/7717287/new-york-jets-tim-tebow-right-play-gang-green
I laugh when I read this stuff. Not one report yesterday even mentions the Pats as a team vying for Tebow. Also, the Pats have a boatload of draft picks and could have easily outbid the Jets or anyone for him. Besides, how much more offense do the Pats need? They need defense, and lots of it. I seriously doubt that the Jets did this to somehow circumvent a Pats move... but if they did, I think it's funny. No way they run their organization that way, you'd like to think. Remember the Jets moving up a bunch of picks to get Robertson because the word was the Pats were going to?
Cromartie is a disgrace and an embarrassment. I guess if Tebow had fathered 15 kids with 12 different women, and didn't pay his child support (and refused to tackle on the field), he'd be considered a hero. Some of you haters would treat Tebow with more respect if he was a serial killer, rapist, or child molester; but because he's a Christian, you despise him.
