Dante Culpepper ! * * But only because Nick Saban and the Dolphins crack medical team insist that Drew Brees isn't ready to play football.
Sherman was a good hire, but no one knows what you will get from Philbon or Coyles. At this point no one knows who / or even if you will upgrade the QB position with. You guys could very well go into the 2012 season with Moore again. Getting rid of Sparono was a start, but I don't think you can say things are looking up just yet.
Don't ask me to defend Ralph Wilson because I won't. The history of the Bills would be a totally f'd disaster for 52 years if Wilson had not fallen in a pile of manure and come out of it with then-unknown Bill Polian as his GM to give the Bills a short period of success. You are wrong if you think Wilson is DUMB, though. He's not. The problem is that what he's smart about is making money. He doesn't give a fk about winning as long as the bottom line is nice and black. Wilson's agenda is all about $$$$. Winning, if it can be done while still making lots of $$$$ is nice, but it comes in a very distant second to profit. Despite the fact that the Bills haven't made the playoffs since 1999 and have only had 1 winning season (9-7) during that time, Wilson has made a hefty profit every year. That, in his mind, means success. So, the next time you whine about your dumbass owner, consider that you could do worse. Hell, even Dan Snyder and Jerry Jones are better owners than Wilson. At least they try to win. Wilson doesn't even bother. //rant over Now, aren't you sorry you posted that reply?
But if youre an owner that trys to make your team win, but actually hinders your teams chances to win. Does that really make you a better owner ?
Answer : No. It just makes you an owner that can't get out of your own franchise's way. That is an owner that has his teams go around and around in circles year after year..... TRUE Mediocrity Personified.
No, because every NFL team makes $$$. Actually, if Wilson wanted to make more $$$ he could have moved the team. He values certain behaviors over winning. He didn't like Polian yelling at his daughter, so he forced him out. Ditto Donohue -- personality conflicts.
It's a rare pleasure to get a full blown phin fan meltdown in March, but they're losing it fast over there. The "Occupy Davie" thread: http://www.finheaven.com/forums/showthread.php?316883-Protest-tomorrow-in-Davie..... Jeff Ireland's fan-updated Wikipedia page: http://ow.ly/i/w8tN/original Hope for their sakes the Alex Smith rumor is right because they're starting to make the Mets look competent.
I guess a protest is more compelling than a press conference. Apparently, there is a MLK type in their midst . . . "Protesting in this country of ours is a good thing.Sometimes its the only way to bring about change and have your voice heard. The problem in our country there is to much of a sit back and take it attitude."
"The Dolphins were able to hire Ireland away from the Cowboys because he did not have final say in Dallas. To paraphrase G.O.B. Bluth, they had made a huge mistake."
Ryan Tannehill will be a dolphin one way or another. They may even trade up for him. The good news? That will likely push a better position player down to #16
well it is amusing but the footbal gods have a way of neutralizing the rivalry between the jets and fish. if the jets give us a 5-11 stinker next year this forum will take on some similarities for sure.
lol if they have to trade up for Tannenhill, what a complete shit fuck of a mess that team is gonna be
Lol they're just angry cause the Fins shipped out Marshall for cheap and they didn't get Manning or Flynn so they're stuck with a 35 year old Garrard at QB who is coming off of back surgery. Thats what I'm talking about! :finssuck:
