Remember we also play one team from the other 2 divisons that finish in the same spot as us so if we both finish 2nd this year we'll face them in 2013. Hopefully we both finish first.

SF will make a push to re-sign Alex Smith and Miami may end up with Tebow

My Niners fan mate is disappointed Manning isnt going there but just hopes it doesnt mean Smith comes back - he is hoping for Kapernick to start with Josh Johnson backing up.

What kind of compensation do they get for Tebow? 2nd? 3rd and 5th?

Also, he has no reason to be PO'd. If he had signed the more than reasonable 3 yr 24 mil contract he was offered in the first place, the 49ers wouldn't have gotten in on Manning in the 1st place.

Yes, I know there's a chance, we could see him in the playoffs again, too. But we're clear of him for this year, so 2013 with him another year older is the next possibility.

Better than having him in Miami, now they didn't get Flynn either. Good. Let them get Kellen Clemens, actually Moore did a decent job for them.

He showed that he's really not ready for prime time in that playoff game against the Giants. Any team that puts some pressure on him makes him look like Brady Quinn when he was the ND QB.

for the longterm health of the Dolphins getting Peyton would have been a good thing for the rest of the division.

Tebow will end up in Jacksonville..I would be shocked if he doesn't. They worship him there.

They'll be lucky to get a 3rd for him IMO

You're probably right but I know he'd have beaten us at least once if he went there. Even if they were 2-14, one of the wins would have been against us.

Then they would have to trade Gabbert. They just gave Henne some good money ($6.75mil for 2 years) to back him up. I doubt there's a market for Gabbert out there.

We lose to them once without him there, probably twice.

Huh? he was the reason they beat Drew Brees and NO the week before and against the Giants he was every bit as good as the Golden Boy Eli Manning(if not better). It wasn't Smith's fault the PR fumbled/muffed 2 returns to set up the Giants for their only scores of the 2nd half/OT.

I don't think it will work out for him/them but best of luck. I would have signed with Niners. Playing outdoors in the elevation/cold. And I know Peyton is much better then Tebow but didn't Tebow get destroyed last year because of their Oline.

I agree that Tebow goes to Jacksonville or Miami. Unless they can get Smith signed but I can see him wanting to go back, even if they did try to replace him.

    Tebow to Jaguars
    Gabbert to Miami
    Manning to Broncos
    Smith to Niners

    It comes full circle
