Hot damn, now that was a finale...Michonne? Sounds badass...I am reading the comics right now (on issue 10). Cant wait to see that and that building at the end is I am assuming a prison?
I'll forgive it, because Herschel in a sports coat, holding a shotgun, with zombie blood in his hair was pretty cool. Made me glad he survived.
I am strictly TV show. I don't really read comics and quite honestly, I really don't like knowing where something is going....even if it is a general direction. I feel like I already know too much, because I know the next setting is the prison and I know vaguely about Michonne and The Governor.
I was thinking the same thing. Whatever, he crushed some zombies head in with a shotgun, so that was pretty badass.
unconfirmed thought is that Rutina Wesley who played Tara Thornton on true blood is gonna be Michonne.
They already confirmed who is playing Michonne on 'The Talking Dead' http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/walking-dead-michonne-danai-gurira-301498
I'm sorry, but the imagery at the end with Michonne was not enough to save the shitty writing, directing and acting in this finale for me. Lori spends an entire episode a short while ago making it clear how dangerous Shane is, and then when she finds out that Shane tried to murder her husband... she flips out at Rick? And how about all of the characters showing up at the rendezvous point simultaneously? Convenient. Someone already mentioned the infinity shotgun so I'll leave that alone. Rick... his speech at the end made zero sense. All those characters did for the past 2 boring-ass seasons was everything he wanted them to do, with the exception of Shane, who he just killed, and now he is acting like everyone on the show has been against him all along. He basically did an impression of the Shane character at the end. And the none of the current actors on this show can... act. But yay, we got to see a samurai sword and zombies on leashes. I feel better now.
Did anyone else notice that the last scene was supposed to show a prison in the distance? Also, the link above mentions a big confrontation next year- if you follow the book, is it survivors v walkers or survivors v another group? Maybe some lesbian sex nexy year with Andrea and her captor? You know she'd be up for it. Was fully hoping to see Hershel's now-bitten daughter coming at him as he made his last stand on the farm with the shotgun.
100% agree here. No clue why the wife was pissed. Basically when he killed Shane, he took his personality immediately...so that explains the speech or doesn't. You can tell the show is a terrible patchwork of various writers with various voices, the discontinuities are laughable, and the explanations on the decisions from the writers and producers on "The Talking Dead" are the same. As for the prison, KOZ, the producers confirmed The Prison as their destination for season 3. I really hope the kid dies a horrible death.
