I think if we dont have two (new) starting safeties by the draft, then we strongly consider trading down in the first, and should have no trouble getting 2 safeties and an olb with our 4 picks in the first 3 rounds

Not sure yet. Some station in Ohio reported it, but no one else yet. Reading the bengals board it seems that the radio station is usually spot on with bengals news.

Can only hope as somebody here pointed out before that they are twisting Landry's arm in hopes of making a duel announcement.

This really wasn't much of a surprise. The Bengals are a team on the rise, while the Jets are on their way down - too many holes to fill, aging players, locker room turmoil. I won't be surprised if Landry chooses the Patsies even for less money.

  14. Let him rot in Cincy, then.

I'm not sure what happens at safety. If they don't sign Landry, this team is in deep, deep trouble.

Yup Schefter said he reached an agreement with the Bengals. I wonder what the figure is.

The Bengals are further from being on top of their division than we are from ours.

Old man Brady is the only thing standing between us and owning the AFC East

The Bengals got a ton of talent standing between them and 1st in their division

Look to Reggie Smith Safety from 49ers next?

    R. Smith/Landry combo would be a good Plan B

Oh well, I guess the Bengals decided to over-pay him with all the cap space they have available...
