Westerman signs with Dolphins...

It was not just fans who thought this guy would be good,,,,,the coaching staff and the press talked about how he was unblockable at times during practice,,,,,,,no big loss in my eyes

 

I wonder if he was constantly being lined up against Wayne Hunter in practices . Would explain a lot!

 

I love you a**holes that go out of your way to wish injury on a player once he leaves the Jets. Dude wasn't offered a contract so he went somewhere else. Its like some of you want every ex Jet to retire if he doesn't pan out here rather then to go somewhere else and continue on with his career.

Wish the guy luck and move on. Jets didn't want him so he did what was best for him...

 

surpirised we let him go. Why get rid of a player that is in a needed position who really isnt that bad at getting to the QB. He better than BT at sacking the QB

 

i guess he enjoyed missing the playoffs this year so much he wanted to make sure he misses it again next year.

These guys have 28 teams outside of the division that they could play for. If they want to play for the enemy why wish them luck?

no and no - maybin was the only RFA tendered afaik

Westerman to Miami?

I just read in the Record that Westerman signed with Miami. When did this happen?

I was disappointed he didn't step up with the opportunity he had last year, so I suppose its not much of a loss. I rooted for him because he was a Rutgers walk-on and that's my school. it was a nice story when Rex took to him two years ago and he played ahead of Vernon the bust.

Sorry it didn't work out Jamaal. I thought it was going to.
