Since we're in the market for a backup with little chance to start, none of the names we bring in are going to bowl you over. So we can sit here and pick apart every single QB they bring in. Then again it's March, what the fuck else do we have to do for the next six months?
He was very good in college, he just never got a fair chance in CLE or DEN. By all accounts, he was a very good backup in Denver who just never got a break over Tebow or Orton. I have wanted Quinn on the Jets since 2009 after Mangini ruined him in CLE for Doof Anderson.
You're correct, Quinn hasn't had a full opportunity to show his ability. I'm fine with either Quinn or Stanton, although I think Stanton will be cheaper. Stanton is another player, due to injuries, has a chance to improve.

So much for the competition this year for Sanchez. Oh well, why not Quinn? Whoever is gonna be the #2 won't ever see the field anyway unless Sanchez gets hurt. Might as well keep the crew they got now. Perhaps cut Brunnell and just roll with the nobodies we have. Won't matter much anyway since they'll never play. Save the money on Quinn and perhaps bring in a decent punter.
