    Per Schefter

If we can pull this off we instantly have the best Dline in the NFL

    Mario Williams
    Kyle Williams
    Marcell Dareus

Opens up alot of options for us with the #10 pick............would love to grab Upshaw or move up for Blackmon if he slips a little.

I'd prefer he stay out of the AFC East if he isn't a member of the Jets.

    Don't the Bills run a 3-4 now?

QB is still an issue IMO. That line would be great but they have other needs. I'd say they should target a CB like Kirkpatrick or OT like Reiff, Martin, of Adams.

Defense always wins. Their offense is suspect but capable. I hope this doesn't come to fruition.

I had a feeling the Bills might be players in the Williams Sweepstakes....

Bills are going to the 4/3 and you are right that D-Line would be nasty with Williams in the fold. Would make a great fit.

I just hope for your sake the Bills are willing to the throw more dollars his way than anyone else. All things equal I imagine he would sign somewhere else. If Wilson opens up his pocketbook though (has been very unlikely in the past) you guys have a chance.

I will say that your GM NIX is absolutely horrible at keeping secrets.. I spend hardly any of my time looking at Bills offseason stuff but I was able to pick who you guys were going to draft every year so far with him. This offseason he hasnt shut his mouth about wanting pass rush and then says something to the effect of "we are going to try and make a big splash in FA" anyone with a Brain can put 2 and 2 together.

The Bills are going to be screwed some year when someone trades up and nabs the guy Nix had been slobbing over for weeks.

Meachem also visiting. Bills are taking an aggressive approach to FA.

you mean like the Phins trading away their best receiver for a couple of mid-round picks?

if they get Peyton and its linked to that then cool, if not then its a real blow to their team.

The jints did nothing in F/A last year & were roundly ridiculed for it, where did it get them... Superbowl Champs. F/A is nice for the fans but it really doesn't translate to team success, go ask redskin & eagle fans, the superbowl champs of F/a the last couple of years.

Nope, the Bills ran a lot hybrid 3-4/4-3 last season, and Dave Wannstadt the new DC is going back to a 4-3. He's always had good 4-3 Ds, and with two DTs like Dareus and Kyle Williams, going back to the 4-3 is a no brainer.

The Bills signing Mario Williams would be too wondrous to contemplate. Williams would instantly upgrade the Bills D. I can already see Brady running for his life.

Bills have 30 million to spend but it's not like them to spend it.

It's no secret that the Bills wanted a pass rushing DE and an upgrade at WR because their D even made Sanchez look good and other than Stevie Johnson, they don't really have another NFL caliber WR. Buddy Nix didn't tell anybody anything that they didn't already know.

It's funny to watch Catt_County pretend to be a fan of the Bills. Not convincing, but funny all the same.

I hope not as well, he'd be a tough matchup against DBrick twice a year, lets hope he is turned off by being a Bill.

According to PFT, the Bills run a 4-3 and this is Williams preferred system.
Williams has shown that he can function in a 4-3 defense and a 3-4 defense. But he prefers the 4-3, and that’s what the Bills run.

I'm guessing he bites on a whopper of a contract and signs with the Bills...

This would affect the draft, there are rumors the Bills could take Upshaw, but if they sign Williams, then Upshaw would likely end up on the Jets. Or the Jets would have a chance to draft him.
