Maybe I'm rambling...but I'm assuming you're refering to the 2010 playoffs and I never understood the comparisons to QBs in situations like these. It's not like they're facing each other directly, they're facing the other team's defenses. Now if you have two total equal QBs, one faces an elite defense and the other, a porous/weak defense...would you really say the first QB is better? I really don't care either way, I just find the whole belief/system flawed in that aspect. And at the end of the day, Sanchez stepped up pretty well, as he always has (so far), in the playoffs. Just not well enough to make it to the big stage. Hopefully with some time and experience, that'll change.
Why would anyone NOT want Peyton Manning? Don't like winning or something? Adding Manning to the team makes the Jets instant Super Bowl Contenders. People say, "Sanchez is young. He can be the QB for 10 more years. Manning has 2 or 3 years left tops." Well guess what? If he wins a SB in one of those years, who cares if the Jets suck for the next five after. I know I would not care. I am not a greedy fan. I just want 1 ring. If the Jets sell out to get it by 2013 thus making their future bad, but win a SB, it will be well worth it.
Sanchez on roster if Peyton is signed? You guys think they will keep Sanchez if they sign Peyton? Unless Peyton plays for free, I see them releasing Sanchez if Manning comes to town.
I doubt they could keep both. It would be entirely in Sanchez hands though if they tried. He takes a pay cut and they can keep him. He doesn't and he hits the street and tries to make his best deal elsewhere.

They said brees would never be the same also.how did that work out. as far as favre he was doing pretty good , we were rolling with an offense like we have not seen, then he got hurt and had to play hurt cause all we had was clemens. I like sanchez ,and i dont think we will get manning,but lets be real here manning is better then sanchez all day long.
Really ? How long have you been watching football 3 years ? They each have super bowls. and manning beat us the first year of sanchez and brady went to the super bowl this year.

My qb is now a free agent. Tanny better be on the phone the second he is allowed to talk to Manning's agent. Rex better be on a plane to Duke. And Kate Upton better be made available to service all of Manning's needs. No fucking around. The road to a Jets parade just begun.
