if it applies to every catch then why do they have a seperate breakdown for sideline catches? Please explain:

Pereira disagrees with Triplette and I trust Pereira more than Triplette:

 

I don't trust Pereira, I have seen him be wrong many times watching games on FOX and I have seen plays called incomplete for the ball moving on a sideline play w/o losing possession.

 

I have rarely ever seen Pereira wrong. He's usually spot on.

 

I see him wrong almost every time I watch a FOX game- it's either he's wrong or the refs working the game are wrong. Either way does it really matter?

 

Considering I felt that this was the worst officiated season ever, it does matter. The refs on the field were terrible this year.

 

It's not just this year, it's been like this for years.
