And the worst Super Bowl champion of all-time. They got literally every break possible down the stretch. Every single one.

Maybe God really does hate the Jets.

Or at least Lady Luck seems to like the Giants for some reason..... [IMG]

And if it was the Jets getting those breaks you wouldn't give a shit, so why cry about it?

I dunno, they got hot at the right time, same as the 2005 Steelers, the 2010 Packers and the 2007 Giants. It's not outrageous, happens a lot.

Yeah pretty much this. They didn't have the prettiest regular season record but they did have a lot of injuries and played a brutal schedule. Sure you can say that they were lucky to dodge the Saints but beating the Packers and 9ers on the road was a pretty tough road to the SB.

The Pats only got momentum because of a terrible holding call. The Giants got a lot of breaks today but they had to beat good teams to get here. The Gatriots made it to the SB through a choked kick and Tebow.

Maybe God is a Vince Lombardi fan, and maybe Lombardi convinced God to punish the Jets for making the AFL a Super Bowl champion and ruining his precious NFL back in 1969

Lots of Super Bowl winners were lucky... you have to be. The Giants also got hot at the perfect time.

At least the Pats lost :)

The Giants were only here because of TWO muffed returns by the return man, one in OT

And because the refs decided to steal the game from Arizona early this season.

Oh and most importantly because Eric Smith is a worthless sack of shit

You have to swallow complaints about luck

Everyone sees it differently and it cuts both ways

Lucky? Got every break? Did you even watch the Super Bowl? I don't think the Giants got 1 iffy call in their favor in that entire game.

Jets fans like the OP are absolutely pathetic. Can't even give an ounce of credit for the team who beat #1 and #2 seeds on the road, won 6 straight elimination games and beat the Patriots in the superbowl AGAIN.

What was lucky about the SB? Just because you are pissy about the outcome doesn't make it any less of a victory. Pats got away with at least 2 pass interference calls. I didn't have a horse in the SB race but it's Jets fans like you that make all of us look like bitter tools with an inferiority complex.

If the Giants are the worst SB champion ever, what are the Jets, best 8-8 team ever?

Lucky? Everybody needs luck to win the SB. Where we lucky that Nate Keading missed 3 FG's? Where we lucky that the Colts pulled Peyton Manning? Where we lucky Romo threw a pick 6 in week 1? Of course not, you create your own luck.

The Pats should have been called for a hold on the Woodhead TD, a facemask on the last Giant FG drive and a PI that would have kept another drive alive. The Giants fumbled twice and had both of them bounce their way. Did either team gain an advantage? Not really.

Can you name one SB champ that wasn't lucky at some point in the season? The "tuck rule" wasn't luck? John Kasey kicking off out of bounds wasn't luck? Barrett Robins going AWOL the night before the SB wasn't luck? Eugene Robinson getting busted with a hooker the night before the SB wasn't luck? Come on man every team gets lucky, that's why they say I'd rather be lucky then good.
