Yeah, really. On all points. This will be particularly trying for me since we are having a Super Bowl party, and I just remembered that not only is the asshole husband of one of my wife's friends a big Giant fan who will be there, but I remembered another guy is, too (Giant fan, not an asshole). And another of my wife's friends is BOTH a Jet and Giant fan - wtf? so she'll be rooting for them, too. Well, at least there won't be any Patsies fans. I am looking at the bright side. I think I will make burritos and have some tequila. Maybe lots of tequila. Anyway, I suggest we all look at this as an occasion to build character. Challenging adversity is what we are facing, and I can assure you we will all live through it, and ftr I checked with my dog about all this and she doesn't give two shits about who is in the SB. You nailed it, AJ! Sorry, Jetboys, but the problem with the Jets isn't the media. It's also not with Joe Namath giving interviews or other teams' fans pointing out the Jets' flaws. The problem with the Jets is that they didn't even make the playoffs when their loud-mouth coach proclaimed that they would win the Super Bowl. Moreover, they blew their playoff shot in demoralizing fashion by losing their last 3 games against crappy competition when even 1 win would have given them a wild card slot. Deal with it.
