I'm sure the majority of Jet fans here can relate to this. This will make you cry, laugh and pull your hair out all at the same time.

I know it's incredibly hard to decide who to root for in the Superbowl, but for me the decision is clear...Fuck the Pats. I guess it is easier for me since I live just a ball hair shy from the heart of New England. Pat fans are the worst fucking fans I've ever had to deal with.

Worse fans? You've clearly never had to deal with NY/NJ Giants fans. They been away for 2 years. They all back and worse than ever.

Yep, I don't have to see or deal with Pats fans, I cannot stand Giants fans, I mean I can't stand them. It's a no brainer for me, F*** the Giants and their greaseball fanbase. What is one more ring in Bellichecks pocket? But if the Giants win after ending the Jets season this year I will never hear the end of it.

The best part was "I'm from New England why the fuck am I a fan of the Jets".
My wife is pregnant and my child will not be a Jet fan. I cannot do that to an innocent child. If they grow and choose to be one because their old man is they will be welcome to do so, but I am not pushing it on them.

I don't think any father pushes a sports team on their child--it just happens. When I was very young I was at first a Cowboys fan, my dad didn't care. But once I got older, I became a Jets fan.

Move to North Dakota and you'll hear the end of it. Just move if it is that bad.

It may depend upon how you act when watching games and whether or not your kid likes you.

My father did not follow team sports until his 20s. By then he developed some level of dislike towards his father and rooted against the Yankees solely because his father liked the Yankees.

I liked team sports at a very early age and liked my father and thus rooted for the same teams he liked.

My son is 2 and will probably like the teams I like because I don't get crazy when watching games. I know some people who rooted against their fathers' teams due to the fathers being belligerent during games.

If I could leave this shithole state I would in a hearbeat. Unfortunately I owe about $50,000 more than my house is worth so I'm stuck here until 2023 by conservative estimates.

NY has zero redeeming qualities as a state I truly despise it. I would be living somewhere out west or down south on 20 acres with a firearm strapped to my side if it were up to me.

The Pats will go back to being irrelevant in about 4 or 5 years, so it's ok.

Dude, I could not agree more. I have 2 daughters who are not really into football but they are starting to become aware of the local sports teams. My youngest daughter asked for a Pats Welker jersey last Christmas and I didn't even fight it. I would not wish on anyone the anguish I have experienced over my lifetime due to this team. Especially not on my own kid.
