    Why did they lose?

Was it because of Mark or was it because the so-called Vaunted Rex Defense FAILED to force a 3 and out by Rapistberger when they had him in 3rd and longs countless times?

Giants are a good team. The passing game is very good, with 3 good receivers and a very good quarterback, the running game is improved from what it was early in the year, and the pass rushers are healthy. Any time your defense can generate a pass rush, the rest of the defense can look better than they really are. And Boley and Webster, among others, have played well.

If the Jets got all the breaks the Giants got they would be a winning franchise, which they are not. Just stop the little brother complex man it makes you look bad.

The Giants, right now, are an excellent team in all phases and they are a worthy representative of the NFC in the Super Bowl. HOWEVER, they absolutely do not deserve to be there.

    San Francisco shit the bed.

Yeah, the "dropped INTs" stat Sanchez haters love to use. But if Eli has dropped picks it doesn't matter. Eli stood tall and played really well, but they got lucky Bradshaw was called down very very early. I have seen players stood up and move backward a lot longer and not get called down.

I don't want to knock the Giants or the Patriots. I can't stand either team but I think they both have good teams this year. This is more of an unlucky jets thing. Pats have had a ton of luck most notably the tuck rule and now this missed chip shot field goal. The giants had the catch in 08 now they got a hail mary last week and not one but two!! muffed punts that handed them 10 points.

The Jets are 1-4 in conference championship games the Giants 5-0. We have been there as much as the Giants except we haven't had the luck they have had thats the bottom line. It's frustrating. The jets are the team that usually make the mistakes to hand the other team the game not the ones to get the benefit of others mistakes.

This thread just makes us look bitter and jealous.

To put the Giants quite simply, they have very high level play at QB and on the D line, probably the two most important areas on the field.

A great pass rush can cover up a poor secondary, and a great quarterback can cover up just about anything. The Giants did NOT have good pass protection.

This really is pathetic. I'm as miserable as any Jet fan should be thinking about 2 weeks from now but come on. They upped their play, got healthy, and made some of these "lucky breaks." That said, shut up. They earned their way in. And for crying out loud, they beat a team with one loss in the Div. round handily - kicked the Packers ass, and embarrassed the Falcons. It sucks but don't kid yourself that the Giants were back dooring it every game.

Rex and his mouth should take some credit for this Giants run, it's a different Giants team once Rex ran his mouth.

The gunner realizing the ball hit the return mans knee and jumping on it wasen't "luck". It was a heads up play. The return man didnt even realize the ball touched him, but the Giants player DID realize it and made damn sure he jumped on the ball.

Jaquan Willams KNOCKED THE BALL OUT OF THE RETURNERS HAND. That wasent "luck" he made a play. Wanna know why the Giants are 5-0 in NFC Championship games? They make plays. Little plays, big plays...they make them. Thats not luck, thats good players and good coaching.

If Sanchez had to play yesterday he would be much less experienced than Eli Manning.

Why can't you people get this through your head. Eli is almost 6 years Mark's senior in experience. 3.5 years as a starter @ old miss and what - 6.5 year starter in the NFL? Jesus Christ.

Do you really think any of these other young QBs would have performed like Eli today? How did "Matty Ice" do in the WC game against the Gints? Flacco looked like a pile of dung yesterday.

I would have expected Sanchez to shit the bed yesterday too. But considering Pitt got a gift "forward pass fumble" for 6 in the AFCCG last year, I think we would have won against Pitt and Mark played pretty god damn well that game.

running our of bounds for 30 yds while making no attemptr to get back in before being the first to pick up the ball was LUCK that the the proper call was not made just as the whistle blowing immediately on the Bradshaw fumble BUT credit the Giants for taking advantage- that's what good teams do.

why did he have zero picks? maybe b/c twice SF Dbs collided when they would have pikced him off? sanchez in Pitt was a much tougher setting last year and sanchez played better in Pitt than Eli did in SF.

The Giants got IMMENSELY lucky as did the Patriots, anyone who doesn't see that wasn't watching the games. TWO muffed punts handing the game to the Giants? The Giants back blatantly fumbled the ball, I have never seen a whistle blow that fast for forward progress ever. Eli throwing at least two horrible passes that are picked off 99 times out of 100 but dropped. The Giants played awful and got lucky.

As for the Patriots, a dropped TD pass and missed 32 yarder within 20 seconds? I mean at this point you have to assume Jesus is a Patriots fan.
