    Ray Lewis=Ultimate team leader

He said no one player loses a game, no one player wins a game. Win as a team, lose as a team. If this shit happened to the Jets I could see Holmes throwing people all under the bus.

    1. Vernon Davis says hi.

    2. Alex Smith sucks. I was told from one niner fan that, if they had Sanchez (!) they would be much stronger on offense.

    3. At the end of the day, their punt returner single-handedly gave the game away. (He is responsible for the Giants 10 points.)

The way Smith won the game last week with 2 drives inside of 3 minutes was more impressive than anything Sanchez has done, even if it was against a gimp defense.

Smith was also pretty bad today but without the Williams fuck ups the Niners probably win and people look at this like Sanchez's playoff win against the Chargers where he did absolutely nothing.

Niners D is definitely much more fundamentally sound than the Jets. They don't use smoke and mirrors.

That was the worst thing about it. I think 3 series in a row they threw on 1st down to open the series, incomplete. Followed by a 2nd and 10 run. Followed by a 3rd and long with an offense that was 1 for 12 on 3rd downs or something like that.

They're not the Jets because they're a lot better, but the offensive playcalling was awful down the stretch. Doesn't Harbaugh call them?

Lastly, I'd say Alex Smith > Sanchez barely (mostly due to the turnovers...Smith isn't very good but he takes care of the football at least), Gore + Hunter >>>>> all of our guys, Jets WRs > Niners WRs, Davis > Keller, o-lines comparable, and their defense easily better than ours.

True, but can Mark Sanchez skip a ball across the Atlantic Ocean like Smith can? I think not

Pretty funny because I was doing the same thing. It seems the Niners abandoned the run in the 4th quarter & OT & I just don't understand why. Maybe Alex Smith's performance last week changed their expectations.

I said it earlier, and I'll say it again. The 49ers on top of having a solid pass rush, gave up only one 100 yard rusher and 1 rushing TD all year. That's crazy.

The Jets D simply wasn't in the same league as them this year.

How many Jets would start if you could pick and chose from both defenses? 1? 2 players? I can't see going much higher than that.

Our offenses are near identical, I agree. No receivers, and only the TE can be considered a threat receiving. They have the better RB and TE, but when you have nothing outside of that, you're not going to have a good offense.

They have the talent we lack so they dont need complex schemes to cover up their deficiencies... Rex can only do so much

Me too. It was crazy. They tore a page out of the Jets playbook. Succeed by running then abandon it and start throwing on every down.

    Same issue with the Revens.

There are some seriously dumb OC's in this league.

If at all, their front four generates pressure - which is not really the case with the Jets D.

They have a few FA in there defence so expect most of them to get priced out of returning to San Fran

unless you are the Pats who must have had the easiest #1 place schedule in the history of the NFL this season.
