    UPDATE: Not true.

    -------------------------

Big rumour that the Jets will be announced as the road team for the International Series Game at Wembley.

Opponent is St Louis, saving us a west coast trip, a huge break.

I figured we were about due for this.

It will be good if it's a road game for the Jets. (Although, I'd hardly classify St. Loius as a "west coast trip".

it's nice we get only 7 road games for once but I hate the games in London.

As long as we are the road team. I'll be pissed if we are screwed out of a home game.

True, not as far west as Seattle, but still a longer trip to London for them than us!

If you weren't going to St Louis I can't see it making much difference?

At least it's not counted as a home game

I don't get it, going to London is still traveling. How exactly would you classify that as being spared a road game. True, we don't lose a home game by having to be the home team there but it's not like we only have 7 road games.

I'd rather go to London than St. Louis but I hate them giving a game to London every year. NFL games are precious, we only get 8 reg season home games a year and to lose one(not us but SL fans) isn't fair. This isn't the NBA, NHL or MLB where they have a million home games and can afford to lose one. I'd much rather see a SB given to London than reg season games.

the travel is worse but we'll have the bye the following week to recover and we won't face an opposing crowd. The crowd will probably be pro-Jet.

True, but will the locker room be Pro Jet by then?

"Road game" in the sense that you're playing a team in their own stadium in front of their own crowd, which would not be the case in London.

St. Louis isn't a west coast city, but at least it isn't a home game we are losing.
