Arian Foster,Kurt Warner,John Randle,Antonio Gates,Wayne Chrebet,Priest Holmes,Brian Waters,Tony Romo,Nate Newton,Jeff Saturday. You never know. Thank you to the poster who started this thread. Height/Weight/speed guy. You look over our roster and we could use a few of those.
Thanks Raiderjeaux. It's all about route running ability. One doesnt get separation if they can't cut and maintain speed. That's why an undrafted FA like Rod Smith goes unnoticed after not doing his pro-day, then proceeds to catch a million passes. Odds are this guy isn't a good route runner and is TC fodder. Always rooting for the TC fodder though, of course.
I just started this thread because it was a signing in an area that many feel we lack. Alot of people have been asking for a tall, break-away receiver and this could be a diamond in the rough find or he could be someone who fades away into obscurity. Either way it doesn't hurt to discuss.
Seemed like valid news to me. I like the idea that we are always looking at new prospects and it breaks the monotony of reading threads about Aston Kutcher's opinion of Sanchez. Thanks for posting.
agreed! to those of you telling the guy what he should or shouldnt post a thread about please see the sticky referring to leave being thread police to the mods. if they deem it unnecessary they will move it. if you deem it unnecessary then simply move on to the next thread.
For the record, all transactions should be pointed out. This is a fuckin Jets forum, this is where all that shit gets posted.
Didn't the Jets snag a tall wide rerceiver off of Minnnesota's practice squad during the season? Whatever happend to that guy?
I'm with you - signings deserve their own thread. Thanks for posting. Of course, chances are this guy does nothing, but at least now I know he's with the team!
Nothing wrong with creating a thread for signing. There's already so many threads on what some random Jet or ex-Jet thinks about Sanchez. Add some variety to the board.
I will now be able to sleep through the night. We have found that elusive replacement for David Clowney. We can only hope Ganaway tweets every idiotic thought that enters his head.
Why are any of you asking if this kid will be a starter? or even mulling over it? He is signed onto the roster most likely for practice squad duties in the future. Unless he miraculously becomes the next Victor Cruz he isnt going to be anything to start a topic about.
too f'ing right - I would much rather read a thread about someone we have signed even if its not a bog name than the 1001 threads started about the jets bitchy locker room or other such crap.
Joey Ganaway sure was a speedster back in the day...... surprised he didn't work out for the PATS, but Bellicheck probably didn't like him. Hopefully he can be the deep threat this team needs. :breakdance:
Exactly. I'm not sure what people are whining about, I certainly don't want to see another post titled "Is Sanchez our future QB?"
He has great size and great speed. However, it makes you wonder why a guy like that did not play last year. In other words, I dont ever expect to see this kid on teh field.
Absolutely. Having said that, I doubt this guy even makes it has high as the #4 wr this coming season.
