I am pretty sure most of us would consider it a good life if we got to sleep with Kate Upton once. He might be a shitty qb, but he has made millions, slept with Kate Upton and the Sopranos Girl, and been an NFL qb. I would say that his life has turned out just fine even if he gets cut tomorrow and never plays another down in the NFL...

That's pretty much it, he did what he is supposed to do but I also liked what he said about McElroy. He did not deny that there was a division in the lockerroom and McElroy's comments already confrimed that Manish did not "fabricate" his source(s). Even if Holmes was the only source then he should be man enough to put his name on it but I understand Mehta not outing the guy(s) who gave him the story. People need to learn how being a member of the media works before they start claiming a reporter is making things up.
I don't think anybody doubts that Mehta has a source. The main issue is the credibility of the source(s). Part of being a reporter is not using people like Santonio Holmes as anonymous sources when it is clear they are acting out individually. Part of it is not taking everything Bart Scott says seriously when he's hurting after a big loss. Part of it is recognizing that when people get pushed out the door they often leave noise behind them from their friends in the organization. Without knowing who Mehta's sources are I'm left doubting that he followed any of those guidelines in this piece. If Santonio Holmes, Bart Scott and a pissed off offensive coach who just lost a buddy are the sources the story should never have run.

I think it's 49ers and Ravens. Those are the great defenses left playing at this point and I think the Patriots weak defense will cost them in the end.
We don't know who the sources are, what if it was Revis? That would certainly change things around now wouldn't it? Suppose it was Brunell? Or Greene? We haven't heard a peep out of Greene, 2 other QB's have pretty much come the defense of Sanchez, where is this dismissal by Brunell? I'm not impying that it's any of those guys but it could be. We don't know and assuming just because he's disgruntled it's Holmes is somewhat irresponsible.
Well, since there's no evidence whatsoever of anyone on the team bashing Sanchez, other than hearsay from one reporter, I don't believe it. I'm always skeptical of the media, first and foremost, second I don't believe anything without evidence. If you've got the evidence, present it instead of getting angry when people defend our QB over what is most likely a bogus story made to sell newspapers.
If it was Revis I'd assume he was stirring the pot to get that huge contract cut so there was more money there for his holdout next year. BTW, I'm not being facetious or funny or sarcastic. I really mean it. The criticism of Sanchez began in the 2010 pre-season during Revis holdout when Revis put it out there that Sanchez was being paid way too much.
