Steeler fans are still mad about this formation. I'll admit, I was a little shocked to see the NFL say this was legal. Rarely a flag, but definitely illegal.

Ha! That's the first I've heard of this. There's like, nobody on the LOS. NFL games are becoming as predictable as NBA games. Tim Tebow was getting calls that veterans don't get in that game, facemask aside.

As long as the helmets line up with the center's ass, that's considered on the LOS. I believe it's written in the rule as such, except sub in waistline for ass.

That said, that's still not legal as the TE(Rosario) is a good half yard from accomplishing that.

EDIT: Ass, waistline, belt line - same thing.

    PLAYER ON LINE
Article 2 - A Player of Team A is on his line:
(c)if he is a non-snapper, his helmet must break the vertical plane that passes through the belt line of the snapper.

If that's the case, it looks like their left tackle is also behind the LOS.

I think that's Rosario at the end of the left side of the line.

No matter who it is, there are only six guys on the LOS.

You could dig up that type of illegal formation on teams every week. It is almost never called. I love how it is Steeler fans whining about missed calls. If Tebow gets the facemask call he should have, the game was basically over then.

The Steelers won two SB's with help from bad officiating, and almost beat the Colts in the playoffs one year with a bunch of head scratching calls. I have no pity for the Steelers or their fans.

No problem with rooting for more than one team. It's having two favorite teams that doesn't make any sense.

I live in LA now. If the Chargers moved here, or better yet, the Rams, I'd always be watching the games and hoping they do well, trying to buck the stereotype of shitty LA fans.

I grew up watching the Jets and Eagles. I like seeing the Jets do well. It would be cool and great to watch them take it to the SuperBowl.

But it cannot humanly compare in any degree to the feeling and desire to see Philly take it all every year. That is always my first priority.

EDIT: btw I'm not gonna troll or mention Philadelphia in any way only if it's a suitable thread. Not gonna mention Iggles if it's some other Jets discussion and I'ma be classy every time if Jets lose to the Birds or vice versa.
