Dolphin fans may be laughing at us but the rest of the world continues to laugh at the Dolphins maybe they'll rehire Dave Wannstupid to come back and straighten things out -- like passing up Drew Brees in the draft to grab up HOF cornerback Jamar Somebody who was out of football two years later... and then passing up on the chance to sign the very same Brees again as a free agent to grab up Daunte Culpeper instead
Won't every jet fan be laughing at whatever team eventually hires schotty? Pretty much the same thing.
Wouldn't it be kind of funny after all the (BS) talk the Jets did about what a great HC he'd make, if he didn't even have a job in the NFL next year?
I know it was time for schotty to go,but i still dont blame him for everything. I blame lack of personel on the Oline. I dont care what Dolphin fans say about him as their HC,he is our OC,not HC.
The Jets didn't hire Tony to be the head coach. Most likely Haley will be coming along as well...the two had success together in Dallas. So no it wouldn't be pretty much the same thing.
I wouldn't. I think Schottenheimer has a better chance of succeeding as a head coach than a coordinator. Coordinators are much more geared towards the X's and O's and I never got the impression that Schotty excelled in that area. However, I don't see any reason why he couldn't be a successful head coach honestly.
Shotty had little talent on offense this year, a QB who acted like a first year QB and completely regressed, the running game is simply not the same as when Jones was here and the o-line was filled with hardened vets. Not saying Shotty was good, but I think this year he had no chance. EVERYONE screamed for them to take the reigns off Sanchez and when they did look at what happened (Giants game in particular). Sanchez simply is not a QB who is going to beat a team with his arm and our line and running game just sucked.
Fuck this Jawing I can't wait for this season to already start to bad it just ended this crap is gonna be going on forever....
Here was the next sentence: the running game is simply not the same as when Jones was here and the o-line was filled with hardened vets. Sanchez was terrible this year, there is no denying that.
Miami is more interested in wining and dining VIP's. They have a wanna be owner, a wanna be GM, and can't forget about the musician owners.
Welcome to the board. You will soon learn that some will cry for something to happen, and bitch when it does on this board.
Sparano failed to develop Chad Henne. Why should we believe he can develop Sanchez? It is a fair criticism.
I think Sparano could be a good fit. A good way to get back to Ground and Pound, RUN THE BALL IN 2012!!!
Fish screwed themselves, Henne will be starting again for them next year because he's better than Moore and they won too many games to jump into the Top 3 to get a good QB.
