I have plenty of basis for saying it, have you ever listened to Johnson speak? He says it all the time.

Rex can select his coaches, that's a fact, stop being confrontational.

You're the one making the claim. If there's so many quotes easily available feel free to post them. Otherwise I'll just continue to assume you're full of shit.

Raiders were the most penalized team in the league this year. That's hardly a confidence booster for addressing accountability, something this unit sorely lacks.

That's just Raiders football, regardless of coach.

And just what is confrontational about what I said? I said Tannenbaum has the final say also known as complete control. He does.

Show us (link) where Rex isn't allowed to select his coaches??

Who do you think made all the asst coaching decisions when Rex was hired??

Rex is the only answer. Rex selected his coaches when he was hired.

Please stop, you're boderline trolling trying to start crap with the posters in this thread.

Trolling? Are you serious? I made a statement that Woody Johnson has made himself numerous times including the day Ryan was introduced and if you were watching then you saw it too. He said Ryan is the coach but Tannenbaum has complete control over all personnel decisions. I have heard him say that exact same thing at least three other times since. Ryan can suggest and if it is something Tannenbaum agrees with then he will get it, if it's not he won't.

Since Tannenbaum is more of a cap guru than football guy I think that most of the football brain trust lies with Rex, the rest of the coaching staff and the scouts under Tannenbaum. Tannenbaum relays to Rex first and foremost what is financially plausible and what is not based on the current/future cap situations. At least, that's the feeling I got watching Hard Knocks.

Don your title above your avatar is so accurate your fellow TGG members gave you.

Tanny has final personnel decisons on players and drafting. Rex can bring in any coach he wants. That's a fact!!

As far as I'm concerned this is over, so please end your Jaded POV in this thread, it's causing trouble.

What makes it a fact? You saying it? Do you really think for a second he wanted to retain Schitty when he took this job, I don't and neither of us can prove that one way or another but if you really think go right ahead. As far as your little snippy remarks to start your post, as I did then I still do now take that from its source and get a little laugh out of it everyday.

Trolling troll is trolling. Its obvious at this point. He ignores that Rex brought coaches over from Baltimore with him and pretends that tanny is the all powerful god of the Jets to support his negitivity. Now he's calling out the mods who asked him to stop. When is someone going to stop the troll?

The clear meaning of your posts in the subject are that Ryan did not want to have BS as his OC, and BS was forced on him if Ryan wanted the job at all.

There is no evidence for any of that.

And saying Tanny has final say is hardly the same as saying Ryan has no input. Final say means Tanny can veto Ryan's choices or input, not that he picks everybody regardless of what Ryan wants.

If you can't tell the difference I don't know what to say.
