I'm by no means calling Garcon a #1. I just think he would be a cheap realistic option.

As for the Hendersons, I've always thought they were fairly quick LBs, both of them. I never understood why Erin never really excelled.

Good. I hope we don't trade any, because we're going to need all of them.

they need to patch up the o line and safety first of all, then get some sort of pass rush, and i really like the way Nick Toon looks coming of Wisconsin.
and there isnt a need to get a rb when an offensive line makes a rb

I agree that Garcon would probably be both cheap and realistic, except if Manning stays, I doubt he'll want the Dolts to let Garcon leave.

I don't know much about Erin, but I remember when AJ came out of college. He was fairly slow and that hurt him.

you have to prioritize. Either you fix the OL by adding a FA T or you will likely suck yet again. From there I would go LB or RB.

Teams get turned around from much worse than 8-8 every year. This team will go into next year with some holes, as will every other team in the league. That is the nature of this league.

We arent that far from being a playoff team, every team will have flaws. If we draft well we can fix many of them.

Even 1 really good safety would help.

People need to stop having wet dreams about Braylon. Plax was a HUUUGE upgrade over Braylon, believe it or not. Braylon has been taking a step back each year in the NFL, since entering.

In the FA and draft, the Jets MUST get a cover safety AND a cover mlb to play besides D. Harris, to stop the TEs. If we can grab the likes of, former Jets, Kerry Rhodes and J. Vilma in the draft we will be great shape.

Every team has holes, we don't need to fill all of ours to be competitive again. I'd like to see the team focus on making some significant acquisitions to address our three biggest needs (RT, OLB, S) and then make some secondary "depth" acquisitions for other positions (RB, receiver, MLB).

RT can be addressed through free agency and we can draft a tackle late in the draft to groom to replace said vet. Our most pressing needs are OLB and a Safety, if people can not see that our biggest problems this season was the lack of a consistent pass rush I don't know what games you've been watching. Our sacks leader(Aaron Maybin) bless his heart was pretty much a bust who we picked up and prayed would do some work for us while our million dollar "stud" backer Calvin Pace did absolutely fucking nothing this season. We need to draft a pass rusher ASAP first pick and second pick should go towards a safety such as Lester or Reid who I think would do damage opposite Jimmy(who we should resign).

Some people are just sensationalist who say shit to get people going. You sir are one of them. Come on did you watch any of the games? Plaxico got no separation, Braylon had a ton of deep catches for the Jets last season. Plaxico was dogshit this season.

Come on don't bring that weak shit up in here.

Plax a huge upgrade over Braylon, is that a fucking joke? If Plaxico runs a fucking 4.90 right now I'd be shocked.

You can add the Steelers' Ryan Mundy to this list, a back-up to Polamalu and Clark who would start on most teams.

Yes. We were not that far off from the playoffs this year. A lot of stupid stuff happened and we still almost made it. If we can address the above positions we will be a solid contender.

Also, legler pointed out that Mundy will be a free-agent, I did not know this and I would take him in a heartbeat.

Not sure if it would be feasible with our cap and contract situation but I wonder if we could pry away Mike Wallace from Pittsburgh. He will be RF. I'm sure they will tender him with a 1st and 3rd but I wonder if a big offer could force them into a deal. I don't think they will franchise him as they will need the tag for Troy Polamalu.

Are you talking to me? The only wet dreams I have is of Kate Upton but that's another story altogether. [IMG]

I don't believe it 'cause it's not true. What color is the sky in your world?

    uh huh...

Yeah because having over 900+ yards receiving and being instrumental in the JETS reaching back-to-back AFCCG's means "taking a step back each year".

Okay....Now I truly wonder if this really IS a JOKE-POST.
