COMPLETELY disagree... I think 'Steelers hate' is extremely commonplace. I don't think I have ever been a part of a conversation about the Steeler's that didn't have at least one person say, "I hate the fucking Steeler's." They are dirty players, led by a rapist, who are boring as hell to watch.

+1 - I hate the Steelers more than any other team in football.

It was already noted that by beating them, the Pats kept 7 teams from being over .500. They played the same schedule basically as the Jets.

The Patriots always have an edge in strength of schedule because we don't get to play ourselves twice a year.

I was in Central Asia in 2008 and half expected to see a "19-0" shirt in some Nepalese village somewhere. I guess I was on the wrong continent.

    Call me crazy, but...

I would think that the Super Bowl loss to the Giants and the loss to the Colts in the '06-'07 AFC Championship game were bigger disappointments.

No where in there does it say he enjoyed the Jets struggles. He said he was glad they beat them twice, then gives them a bit of a compliment by saying he expects them back with confidence next season. He's usually a douche, but not here.

Actually, I think its a perfect summation. The skinny kid talking and acting tough and then getting his ass kicked. Sums up the Jets perfectly.

Yeah, the Jets were portrayed by the skinny kid in that video, and the Patriots by the fat kid.

Yeah, and they played the Jet's twice. LOL

At least the Pats won't have to face the Jet's a 3rd time this year. Another home playoff loss, particularly to the Jet's, at home again, would be awful. It's taken this long just to see if the team can possibly redeem themselves. Definitely couldn't take another loss to the Jet's in the playoffs, although I don't see PIT or BAL being any easier.

"We have to find somebody out there to beat New England besides us & I'm challenging the rest of the league."

No wonder Brady is relishing in the jets season. I would expect the same from the jets. It's definitely not a boring rivalry. I like it that way.

Let him go to hell, they will be one and done again. Steelers will do them in with that defense, and he will start to see ghost again. Big Ben played like Brady in their game in the regular season. All he had to do was short throws and feed on YAC. Brady is not in the class of Brees and Rodgers, his deep ball throws are atrocious yet he is compared to them. Most overrated QB in the entire history of the world.
Oh did I say FH? If not then FH.

Solid post. I'm sure 95% of football fans out there agree with your analysis.

Haha. The only thing you can fault Brady for is 07. That team should have put up more than 14 points. Even as a jets fan I dislike Brady but give him credit where it's due. Granted i think he was the 3rd best qb this year which is a drop for him

Yep, especially when he shot his mouth off prior to the game laughing about the Pats "only scoring 17 points".

And I agree, Rogers and Brees were better QB's this year. They both had fantastic seasons.

If Tom Brady lives long enough, he'll probably enjoy another 50 Jets collapses.
