I really can't disagree too much. I think if they strengthened the O-line, Manning would make up for a lot of the offensive deficiencies. With the line the way it is now, a QB at his age, coming off his injuries won't last long. I'm also of the mind that even if Shotty stayed, he would be moot with Manning at the helm, which is a good thing. Again, I think it's all fantasy. I think the Jets will stay the course with Sanchez.
McElroy: "It's the first time I've been around truly selfish individuals, people who didn't care if they won or lost, people who only cared what they did individually." "A corrupt locker room"
I agree. Tanny gains absolutely nothing from going on. It's going to be Mike tearing him up while Tanny does a bunch of answering by not really saying anything.
This guy knows what its about, he comes from a winning background and in just one game this preseason he showed some spunk behind what we know now was a miserable offensive line and selfish players, I'm telling you now he has what it takes to play QB in this league, mentally atleast, its time to start pushing for him. Mcelroy 2012!
McElroy is exactly what this team needs, Sanchez is definitely a selfish guy. This whole team is going down the wrong path and if they don't dump Sanchez now, things are bad for years to come.
A list of QB-needy teams that have better supporting rosters than the Jets do: Miami Arizona San Francisco Seattle Minnesota Denver A list of teams that have significantly better cap situations going forward than the Jets, with regard to a potential pursuit of Manning: Washington Cleveland Arizona Chicago Tampa Bay Jacksonville Kansas City The Jets have no cap space, a so-so roster, and New York City to offer Manning. If I'm him, I think I'd rather take a gazillion dollars to throw to Larry Fitzgerald and win the creampuff NFC West for a few years. The only reason Manning would come to New York is for the New York stage -- and as Francesa says, he doesn't need that stage. There are a hald-dozen better situations for him, and if the Jets couldn't find the money for Nnamdi, they definitely won't be able to find the money for Manning.
The jets have plenty of cap space. We were under the cap this season by like 6 million and it looks as if we will be cutting players to make more room. I still don't want Manning but you obviously have no idea what you're talking about.
The Jets are a year round organization. They don't dissipate when the season ends. Holmes acting like a pouty jackass. LT calling out Holmes on his behavior. Cro blaming the offense for the teams troubles. Players during the year, questioning Shotty. Rex telling the team they need to stick together. A few days later another player rips the locker room. The team is imploding.
AYFKM? What the hell are you basing that on? So he's a team guy when we go to the AFC title game, but miss the playoffs, and he's selfish? These posts are retarded.
