Well, if many Jets fans get their wish, today could be the last game in green for Sanchez. I think that would be a terrible move, and hope like hell the FO is smart enough not to do it, but it woukd not surprise me at all. The more I see of the Tanny/Rex era, I am more and more concerned with much of the decision making.
as much as i would like it to be his last game, it will not be. he will be back next year... i will just about guarantee it.
Yeah the only way this happens is if they trade for manning but we're not getting rid of sanchez now, the jets are too invested in this kid to give up on him at this point
It's hard to say. Tannenbaum is a reckless gambler who likes to acquire proven talent regardless of the cost. Given that reality this might well be Sanchez last game in a Jets uniform. The clock is ticking at this point on the end of the Tannenbaum era in NY.
Yeah I really don't see him going anywhere next year. Not really sure who we'd get in favor in him (don't see Manning happening), and I don't think the FO is bailing on him just yet. Our offense as a whole has been a mess this year, and he has not been bad enough to give up on with so much invested in him being a success here.
A 25 year old starting QB who already have four playoff wins. Yep, we are getting rid of him..... Even if the stars aligned, and we get Peyton friggin Manning, we don't let Mark go!
It should be his last game, but unless Manning comes here, he will be in training camp (hopefully with competition that can relegate him to where he belongs - the bench)
Its pretty hilarious that anybody would be dumb enough to suggest #6 has even a remote possibility of leaving. Silly silly people.
This thread is a bit silly, of course Mark will be here next year. Now that might be his last, but he will be back for one more shot, and I have to say I have to agree with it. My issue will be having some one on the roster who will force Mark to win the damn job and not just have it handed to him. A veteran and McElroy both being allow to take the job away from him if he can't PROVE he should be the starter with his play. If he steps up and clearly beats out the competition, then we know we truely have our franchise QB. Yet, if he falters and continues to play as he has this year..... Then he holds the clip board as a backup and depending on who is starting, and how well they do...Mark gets traded next year for hopefully a fresh start and a second chance,..... Oh, and don't feel too bad for him if he cannot cut it else where either, hot chicks still like to screw young guys who have more money then they know what to do with
