I am on my tablet so its hard to copy and paste links but LT said he would want more than the Vet minimum cause he has kids....

If the Jets sign him for more than the minimum it'd be a waste of $

Thanks for the 2 years LT, if someone could post the link it'd be appreciated!

Why not give him what he wants for a year. He's not part of the problem, and IIRC, it hurt that he was out vs Dnver

he's going to look the same as he does for us --- slowed down, a less than mediocre runner from scrimmage and a decent screen pass target if he is only used on third down

Not worth it IMO, McKnight has looked good as a third down back catching passes out of the backfield. I do find it a little humorous though that one of our two passes this year that went over 40 yards was to LT. You'll be missed LT but not for the price you want.

I like LT out of the backfield on 3rd down, but McKnight should be able to do the same job.

I have no problem with him moving on.

We brought him in because we didn't have a player that could take dump offs and screens well enough. We needed a third down back. Now Greene and The Dark McNugget are up to speed in that respect.

There is no need of an over the hill runningback who has lost his burst.

McKnight has decent hands. Much better than stone hands greene, but yea it's too much he's asking for.

Greene has not been stellar, but he is far from the stone hands bully that he has been in recent years.

I feel like I'm the only one who wants him back next year. Yeah, he's not a pro-bowler anymore, but his leadership abilities is a big staple in my opinion, besides him, I can't think of many other players who play such a significant leadership role.

Does he deserve a big contract? No, but I'd still like to have him back with a little more than vet min. Just not THAT much more.

Totally. I heard Ty Law had trouble feeding his kids. I figure he fed them yellow flags, since he seemed so determined to draw them when he was a New York Jet.

I wonder how much of that contract Cromartie used up already on his 15 fucking kids.
