The last few years we have become accustom to an elite OL and have taken advantage of it. We didn't realize how good it was until this season. Now everyone sees the key to our success in the last few years.
Agreed. Sanchez is not an elite QB by any stretch, but in terms of the issues that this team needs to address in the off season, QB is not in the top 5.
We need a new OC plain and simple. All QBs go through a period of not making good decisions. Marks not making good decisions this year, I beleive with a new OC, his confidence will return. I can not deny his skill set
Tebow in conventional offense was a total joke, moron. (Remember Detroit disaster.) Denver OC had to change their offense entirely, based on zone read. WATCH AND LEARN, IDIOT.
but but but, he wins more games that then he loses, taking his team to the playoffs, and has more 4th quarter comebacks then the great Sanchez?
No what's embarrassing is how quickly people forget the progression of Eli Mannings career or that he's in his 8th fucking season in the league.
Look. You are an embarrassment to Jets fan base. Tebow hasn't even gotten to the playoff yet. If they lose next week, they are out. Know what you are talking about. On top of that, I have said times and again how terrible OC kills his QB - and what's your rebuttal for that?
Fuck it im sticking with Sanchez. I hope we make the playoffs so all these naysayers can look like idiots. Sanchez has 30 TD, 15 interceptions. Horrible OC. Barely any run game.(hell I think he might have more rushing TDS than our RBs), the Oline blows, yet thru this his putting up #s that others would consider good. He has improved, the rest of the team has regressed.
Don't let little things like the facts you mentioned fool you. The brainless Sanchez haters can't handle the facts.
30 TD 15 Interceptions Elis stats heading into our game was like what 25 TD, 15 Interceptions and people were saying he was having an MVP year because the team around him sucks. Well what has Sanchez had?!?! No run game, no Oline, recievers dropping balls, horrible offensive coordinator, yet here we are entering week 17 with a chance to make the postseason. Im gunna laugh when Sanchez ends up getting cut and does great in a smaller market with a good supporting cast without the spotlight on him.
that's why I would take Sanchez over Eli any day of the week. some fluke ass catch by a scrub that's not even in the league anymore doesn't change that. mark outplayed eli in our game if you discount that 99 yard TD that had nothing to do with manning.
Heres another problem that falls on Schotty. Ask yourselves, where has Sanchez strived!?! -Play Action Pass -Deep Balls -Checkdowns to the 3rd down back How many PA passes and Deep Balls did we see all season? few. I think the problem starts, with the recievers only running 10 yard routes or less. If our recievers were running 20+ yards it would open up the zone coverage or break the man coverage which leads to guys getting open. It also means the RB can come out of backfield and have a lot of room to work with. Instead our offense has been predicatable and teams just stack their defenders on the first down line and let the Jets beat themselves. The RT killed us because by the time our recievers would run 20+ yards, chances are Sanchez is in the ground.
