Sanchez will not only be the starting QB in 2012, but he will be the starting QB in 2013. If there is a new system put in place next year (assuming Schittenheimer is gone in the off season), he will get 1 year to learn the offense, and 1 year after with the offense already installed.

If we're stuck with Sanchez, then surely B Schottenheimer will be let go. Together they aren't getting it done, someone's gotta be held accountable.

Matt Moore is a better QB right now than Sanchez.

You can't blame it all on the receiving corps. Outside of reggie bush and brandon Marshall, Matty Moore is getting it done with Bess, Hartline, Fasano, clive gates, lex Hilliard, and Charles Clay.

This is the NFL not pee wee football.

If Sanchez is the problem the powers that be will kick him out.

I predict that is EXACTLY what will happen in the next few years.

While Sanchez has been subpar this season, he should be our quarterback next year. I'm sick of all the trash talk from Ryan myself but they earned themselves another chance after the past two years.

With that said the Colts are getting the #1 pick. If Luck sits behind Manning for one season he might impress coaches making the front office willing to trade Peyton.

If we draft our needs this year ( defensive end, safety, wide receiver) and not overspend this offseason we can continue to play the same Jet football as this year and give "Sanchize" and Rex another year. If we fail again it might be time to clean house, the jets didn't hesitate too long to dump Mangini after all. We could offer Trade or Cut Sanchez and offer a Kings Ransom to the Colts for Manning, we can offer Manning to bring in his own coach and The Jets are the new team to beat in the AFC East. That might feel like a pipe dream but with Luck in Indianapolis anything is possible and just maybe we can finally get that franchise signal caller we've been looking for if Sanchez doesn't turn it around

Sanchez is horrible, but the o line isn't helping. Dude has no awareness, tosses up meatballs and has fumbleitis

Yeah and when Peyton gets sacked once or twice and is severely damaged goods, everyone would be happy, right. SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT PEYTON. Sanchez has a better post season passer rating than him.

    Quoted for stupidity.

Sanchez has improved his game each of his 3 seasons. Look at the stats. He's improving. Imagine if we had a healthy Braylon Edwards this year.. That's all I can say. We have absolutely no deep threat, and teams know this and it makes their preparation that much easier. That plus a shit OC and a weak Oline, there you have it. Despite all that against Mark, he still upped his production this year.

I suggest that Sanchez undergo offseason surgery to have his arms shortened.
    That should fix the problem.

Not many here are rushing to defend Sancho's honor.

After today's performance I can fully understand why.

Even the old "yeah but he's clutch" excuse doesn't work.
Today's game was nearly as big a game as any yet ...playoff implications, hearts & minds of New York fans...etc.

The Jets season ended today, and in the most embarrassing fashion imaginable.

The SOJ mindset rose has risen from the dead. Yuck.

We have a head coach that knows zip about offense. We have an OC that knows even less. What a clusterfuck this team has become.
And me, ever the optimist, was thinking we'd win with 5 mins. to go. I'm a fool to believe in this squad.

I don't like Sanchez he throw to much.

Seriously he has trouble with his decision making. There was a point in the game (I can't recall the exact moment because I have stricken this game from the record) when Sanchez got sacked near the sideline when he could have easily thrown the ball away. Who does that shit? You have to improve the decision making Dirty.

If this team had Eli Manning in year 3 they'd kill themselves.

    First overall pick, same progression.

    Nigga please.

Seriously, the dude has 5 straight 1k+ yard seasons and 3 100 reception seasons to his name. Do you see a Brandon Marshall on this team? Because I don't see anything that fu***** resembles one of the most physically dominating receivers in the game on this team.

I swear to god people overrate these receivers, or they underrate just how much a top 10 WR can do for a QB. Sanchez isn't the problem. Looking past the clear OC problem, when you observe who we have Sanchez throwing the ball to, you're going to understand why we aren't moving the ball up and down the field. Did you really think we were going to light the world on fire with a receiver straight out of prison, and a glorified #2? Our receiving corps is a joke, and any attempt to make comparisons of this offense to those which has a corps playing on an entirely different plane of existence, should be halted immediately.

Sanchez has his problems that he needs to work on, but he's not the reason why this offense isn't working.

Oh, you mean we should just ignore the two 1000 yard players on the Dolphins to further our agenda? Outside of the two 1k yard players, Matt Moore is getting it done! Hilarious. Brandon Marshall is a beast and Bush is proving he's one of the best backs in the game. Remove those two cogs and Matt Moore goes back to being roster space.

First Stafford(Calvin Johnson), and now Matt Moore(Brandon Marshall). Some of you aren't thinking rationally. Name me one QB in the league that's getting it done with a corps as weak as ours. Why on earth is Sanchez the only one expected to make magic happen with a shitty corps?

He may be the starter next year, but we will at least have an option at #2 who can step in. Who it might be is anyone's guess, but he will have competition.

you do realize manning will be 37 or 38 years old by then. and qb's don't bring in their own coach's. good god, the screw ball idea's that some people come up with.

thank god there's fantasy football for people that think along your line of thinking.

Ha, not only could he have thrown it away, he actually moved back towards the middle of the filed right into the defenders arms. Hes a fuckin retard. HIs O-line sucks for sure, his receivers aint great, the OC needs to go. All of that is true. BUt I still believe he has zero football sense, will never learn his reads, will never learn defenses and will never gain pocket presence
