The sooner people realize that Mark Sanchez will still be the starting QB for this team in 2012, the sooner people will be better off. Let it settle in your minds: MARK SANCHEZ WILL BE THE STARTING QB FOR THIS TEAM IN 2012.

Changes need to be made, and maybe he does indeed need to go, but it just won't happen next year.

Yeah, we gotta get a RT and an elite DE pass rushers.

Wilkerson is good vs run but no pressure on the pass

Yeah as bad as I want him replaced he will still be here. Sucks that Rex will probably end up losing his job after Sanchez continues to suck next season.

Rex SHOULD go. Under him, we play poor fundamental football, we talk loudly and carry a small stick, and I'm sorry but to whom does the OC report?

Most quaterbacks take time to develop roughly 5 years. Sanchez just gets a lot of pressure put on him because this is New York and because of his early success. It really is not fair. Jets need to make some major changes on the O line and find a quality pass rusher. Shotty needs to go because someone needs to be held responsible for what happened today.

Sanchez is rapidly regressing - far from developing. In five seasons, he'll be ready to be a backup Freshman in the NCAA

I think we should let Schotty go, and ride Sanchez until his contract runs out. We gave Schotty 3 chances, time to give Mark a second one. We were able to win in the playoffs with him so keep him and improve the defense and o line.

I would not be shocked to see Sanchez cut (if he refuses to redo his contract) and Orton signed. He would be a huge upgrade. But the person to watch out for is Manning. If the Colts refuse to pay him his $28 million bonus in March I can see Tanny thinking big and going after him. He would have to defer money that might put us in cap hell in 3 years but it might bring us a championship. At the very least the Jets will bring in a viable backup QB to compete for the job. If they bring in anyone with a heartbeat I don't see how he does not win the job.

Elite DE pass rushers? Plural? That's not gonna happen, we're probably not gonna upgrade the DL at all actually. We need a new OLB and at least one more safety.

I wish for a godly pass rusher. A new safety and RT.

How many elite pass rushing 3-4 DEs are there?

I saw Manning brought up and that would really kill our draft. Why would we try to hide multiple deficiencies behind a QB with a neck injury who has not played for a season?
Why not try to fill the other holes and rely on an overall strong OL and defense instead of relying on an injured QB to hide a suspect D and OL?

And the sooner people realize Shotty will be here next year the better. Rex should be fired just cause of his loyalty to people, neither shotty or Sanchez should be here next year.

I like how people put all the blame on Sanchez even though hes got DE's in his face all day. Like seriously, hes progressed every season hes been in the league. This game was lost because of poor coaching and an awful O-line in the second half.

Does everyone expect Sanchez to do well when half the time his tight end isnt paying attention and half the time his "star" receivers are making mental mistakes? Obviously he could have done a better job getting rid of the ball but Sanchez is easily an above average to good QB. Hes only getting better and with a half decent offensive coordinator he could be a lot better.

Zero. If you're counting on 3-4 DE's to pressure the QB you're in serious trouble.

He can't hold on to the ball as long as he does. 32 sacks this season is not acceptable and the majority could be prevented if he just got rid of the ball instead of pump faking 5 times while a defended is in his face.

I know this, I'm not fine with it, but I do know this IS what's going to happen.

I just want the Sanchez defenders to admit defeat as the haters only consolation for having to spend another season with him.

Nah, he threw 24TD this season with a digressed receiving core. Let it be a predictable offensive plan, receivers that can't catch, or even the OC. Give him a deep threat and possibly a new OC. If he can't work with that, then I will admit defeat.

I'm no longer a believer in Sanchez but I agree he'll be here next year...But if Mark doesn't make a big step forward next year I'm willing to say it'll be his last year as the Jets presumed starting QB.

Sanchez has 30 TD, and 15 picks. I blame the OC....
