Like I said, I don't know. And neither do you. Or any other dildo Pats homer. Because the evidence was disappeared before any objective analysis of it could be made. Here, when you go back to school after the break, ask your social studies teacher whether its likely for any organization to destroy evidence that is benign and exculpatory. Go on and guess what the answer is, you may get yourself a cookie.
Are you serious????? What "evidence" would be on a tape from the sidelines that would be different from a tape from the end zone or press box?
Wrong. The Jets defense is ranked 21st in the league, not 6th. Hell, even the Pats have a better ranked defense than the Jets this year. http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/total/sort/totalPointsPerGame/position/defense
Why do you assume that's all they had confiscated? You haven't seen it. And nobody who didn't have a vested interest in the NFL has either. Doesn't mean you aren't correct, but you aren't entitled to presume that you are. In fact, its the exact opposite actually. This is a pretty basic concept.
I'm not sure where you could find "points allowed by turnovers" but I'm sure you'll find the Jets have given up far more points on offense than the Pats. But let's fault the defense for that ...

It's virtually worthless. Why should a defense get judged poorly when the offense shows a pick six? Surely a more accurate way to judge the points that a defense allows is a stat that only is affected when the defnse is actually on the field. A quick resort of your link by yards per game show the Jets "D" is at #7 and the Pats at #32. Then when you look at points actually given up by the defense when the defnse is on the field the Jets currently sit at #10 and the Pats sit at #18. http://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/opponent-offensive-points-per-game The Jets offense / special teams have one of the worst turnover numbers in the league. So if you consider the bad spots that the Jets offense and special teams have put them in (especially when evaluated vs. the Pats O) the fact that the Jets "D" at #10 is quite good. Even though many Jets fans are not satisfied with their defence's performance this year, to try to show that the Pats "D" is better than the Jets "D" isn't going to get you very far.
Are you kidding me? You really think "yards per game" is indicator of how good a defense is? Why do the best two teams in each conference (Pats and Packers) have given up the most yards per game but have the two best records in the NFL????
Thank you! I feel like every opposing fan comes here and starts using that same flawed stat to show the defense below is average. I don't understand why the NFL changes that to points allowed by the defense. I can think of 3 fumbles for 7 and at least 2-3 pick sixes that happened this year. Why is that held against the defense..
Right, and the way to bury that controversy for good would have been for the CIA to sit on the Zapruder footage. Jesus you're a tool.
Dierking, I think what you need is either a woman or a hug, hell possibly both lol. :drunk::manning::up:
I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm honestly curious: how do you Pats fans have time to come to a Jets board and troll? Spending all of your free time arguing about Spygate on a Jets forum doesn't exactly disprove the OPs assertion that Brady and the Pats are obsessed with the Jets.

Yards per game is one indicator points per game is another. Since the Jets "D" is better than the Pats "D" at both I would say that the Jets "D" is better. Also, the fact thact that the Jets have to do it while putting up with the issues of the Jets O and SP turnovers (even after taking the returned TD's away the Jets have given up the ball about 8 more times than the Pats) even make the difference more pronounced. Another fact is that the Jets "D" has scored more TD's than the Pats "D". Or are you trying to proclaim that the Pats "D" is better even though they are worse in virtually every catagory? Q) Why do I think the best two teams in each conference (Pats and Packers) have given up the most yards per game but have the two best records in the NFL? A) The answer is obvious. Their offenses are superior and make up for their defensive inefficiencies.
