It is truly amazing to me how many people miss this ridiculously obvious point. There is no achievement that goes with being a fan of any team; you don't have to pass a test, be smart, be athletic, be rich, or be cool to choose to root for one team and not another. How is it that people can be proud and arrogant about making a choice that anyone else in the world could make just as easily? I find it incomprehensible.

who the hell cares who's town it is? what does that mean anyways? does it mean who has won more championships? ok, the giants have 'the town'. as far as buzz and popularity about discussion among NY and the national media, the Jets own the town in my opinion. there is no question the jets are the way more discussed team.
