We are looking pretty pathetic right now. Offensive mistakes, Hunter and Ducasse are a waste of roster spots. Defensively, we are making Vick look like a genius, we can not stop any TE, we got a long way to go this off season. Frankly, Sanchez might be the least of our problems. We had a chance to make it, but it appears we were not good enough to do it

why we control our own destiny? the bengals have the same record and are better within the conference - therefore we would lose the tiebreaker against them

What planet are they better win the conference? The Jets hold the tie-breakers with the Bengals. And this strength of schedule, the Jets lead in it is large enough where that's not gonna be an issue. Just win these two games.
The way the Jets are playing right now, I have little hopes for the playoffs even if they make it. They will have to show much improved play the next two weeks to get me excited about their chances in the playoffs, IF they get in.
Obviously, they need to step it up. I have faith because that's exactly what they've done under Ryan the past 2 years

Well that's exactly who the Jets would face if the season ended today, either Houston or Denver. It's going to end up being one of those 2 or the Raiders in round 1, then the Patriots, Steelers or Ravens. I think the Jets will probably face the Saints in the Super Bowl
No one thought we would beat NE last year too. All it takes is having a good game. Things can go wrong for the other team who knows. Regardless how people feel about our playoff chances I still want to see us get there.

if we get in i believe in anything even the giants in 2007 won the superbowl by making the playoffs with a 10-6 record and an embarassing loss in week 15 (redskins 22 - 10)

The way I see it, things will end this way Cincy (W- Ari and L- Ravens ) 9-7 Tenn (W- Jax and Possible L - Hou) 8 -8 Raiders ( W- KC and L- SD) 8-8 Chargers (L-Det and W-Oak) 8-8 Jets (W and W ) 10-6 First round game @ Houston with a rookie QB then off to NE for a rematch.... God they better play their asses off Saturday !!
