I expect to lose this game ... and with Tennessee playing the Colts we won't control our fate on Monday morning, so this board will be filled with crybabies.

But ... I also expect to beat the Giants and Dolphins, while they split with Jacksonville and Houston. The Bengals are already dead men walking. We should get in at 10-6 ... but if we don't, the Titans would deserve it for beating the Ravens.

bwahahhahahaahahah Are you suggesting that Leonhard would spy Vick and be the leaast bit effective? Hhahahahahaah come on. Vick could tell Leonhard exactly where he planned on running every play and he would run right around Jim every time. Every single time.

it does if they give up on the season like they did after the Dolphin game last year. My point is, this is going to be a very tough game to win. Its a bad matchup for us. I'm hoping we can pull it off, but at the same time I know that a loss won't end our season. I'd like to hope that the majority of fans would see it the same way ... but history tells me to brace myself for 20 SOJ threads if we happen to lose.

So....if after 2 straight AFC title games, the Jets, in a playoff homestretch, needing to win games, should lose to a 5-8 team, fans are SOJF's if they lose and complain.

Whatever. Somebody sounds like a "Sunshiner!!!"

Sure ... let's just go from 5-5 ... run the tabe to 11-5, and then win 4 more to win the Super Bowl without a single slip-up ... not even on the road against a dangerous team. That's only a 10 game winning streak. sounds reasonable to me. if we don't pull it off, we suck.

Who said we were going to run the regular season table and the playoffs? Seriously...who?

I don't think we will run the table either.

You said, "this board will be filled with crybabies."

You said, "history tells me to brace myself for 20 SOJ threads if we happen to lose."

Why can a fan not be pissed and/or disappointed if we lose to a 5-8 team at this point? Why does that make them a crybaby or a SOJF?

I believe this will be our hardest game of the 3 remaining games. Jets have to find a way to stop McCoy. Eagles still have explosive weapons. This is a road game and plus we don't have leonhard so the defense is going to have to adjust quick this week. On the bright side, it looks like our offense is clicking well. Greene has been running well and Sanchez has made the necessary throws.

If the Jets can't win next week, they have no business in the playoffs anyway. If the ball is in the jets court,i expect them to beat a 5 win team. If they lose i'm not going to belittle other people for not feeling to good about it while i go over desperation scenarios for a team that doesn't belong in the post season.

blitz the hell out of vick and make him uncomfortable in the pocket

use the speed rushers like westerman and maybin to contain him if he escapes the initial blitz

    throw revis on maclin

throw cromartie on jackson and emphasize that he has to be physical with jackson since he is a total pussy who will take himself out of the game if he senses it getting physical

    stop mccoy

i know, i know, but what bothers me is Maybin is too small to stay on the field, so one of our most talented defensive player is riding the pine 50% of the time.

We're desperate for a talented safety. What if Maybin turns out to be an Ed Reed? Plus Maybin could still rush the passer from the safety position on 3rd downs.

Maybin's young, TALL (6'-4"), talented, and very smart and quick at picking up schemes. How great would it be if we have the only safety in the league that can run with and shut Gronkowski down?

no way we lose to a Mike Vick led team, he's not a winner no matter what the media says

Scared of McCoy and what Vick can do out of the pocket...All i can say it no one in the secondary can fall asleep and let their speedy WR get behind them.

We have to take McCoy away and be disciplined in penning Vick in.

On D, we need to punch them in the face, kick them in the nuts, and round house kick them behind the ears. Greene needs to run like a man possessed. Pound the ball.

Run the ball with Greene, Sanchez play at his best and the defense contain Vick, Jackson, McCoy etc and we should win.

I expect the jets to win 28-21
