If Denver wins, Oakland loss is all we really care about, since SOMEBODY (but not San Diego ? Can they still win it ?) has to win West ?

The best San Diego can finish is 9-7, so if the Jets win out all they need is a loss by Oakland or Denver today. If San Diego won the division that can only mean that neither Oakland nor Denver had more than 9 wins, so the Jets are ahead of them for the wildcard.

Basically, unless Green Bay blows a 24 point lead today, the Jets control their own destiny.

Edit: okay, they have to blow a 31 point lead. Rodgers ties the Green Bay record for TD passes in a season. Favre is surprised it took him 13 games to do it.

Ok, I'd say we control our destiny :) These Packers are amazing, only the Saints might be able to stop them.

with the win today we kinda gave ourselves a little cushion for maybe 1 loss

goal still has to be 11-5 tho imo

Saints on the road are very different than the Saints at home. Packers with homefield throughout is very scary. 49ers Packers NFCCG has amazing potential.

Rodgers gets his revenge on Smith... like it. That said I think the Packers would rape the 9ers in that scenario.

I think the Packers would win too but this 49er defense has really impressed me lately. I thought for awhile that they were over achieving but they have played really well. I think they keep Rodgers from making it a blowout but in the end Alex Smith won't do enough. Still I'd love to see that game more then the Saints because the Saints on the road just aren't the same and that could be a blowout.

It feels so good to finally see the jets in the 6 spot on the sports shows. We better not end up in the dreaded 'in the hunt' bubble again.

Watching both Oakland and Denver play, I have a serious question - how the hell did the same team that played today lose to these two shitty teams?

Tebow fumbles. Bears recover with just under 9 minutes left up 2 scores. Games not over by any means but the Bears defense has fast linebackers keeping Tim in check.

Would love to see Revis and Cro against their receivers...remember, they shut down Rodgers & Co. last year. The problem was our "O" was still on the bye.

I don't use those playoff calculators, but hypothetically: if we split with Eagles/Giants and beat Miami, what are our chances ?

Conversely, if we beat Eagles/Giants but LOSE to Miami, then what ?

Do our chances drop alot with another AFC loss ?

That's why you want Chicago to beat Denver to make it less likely that both Oakland and Denver win 10 games.
