+1. This whole team could use a bigger chip on its shoulder this season. Let's hope Mark continues to play with that kind of fire.
he is slated to make around $4.5m next year whereas in 2013 and 2014 its $7.5 and $8.5m so its likely to be his last year if he is back at all.
Bart Scott's salary for 2012 is guaranteed I believe so I'm pretty sure he's gonna be starting again next year.
This is a piece I gathered from a New York Post article: Here is a link to the article: http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/jets..._UWkPUue7vjEiNzDnvQLTNJ?CMP=OTC-rss&FEEDNAME=
Hopefully he was yelling at the D - they blew the Broncos game and didn't look great against Fitzpatrick. Seems to me like this entire team deserves to be yelled at.
Lets face it, they're all going to be like this. We can be playing a high school team and we'll find a way to make it close at the end
Im there with both of you. Noone besides Joe McKnight or Arron Maybin show any emotion... Its nice to see the fire
I've seen too much of the Jets losing over the years, where I've came to appreciate Jet victories (no matter how ugly they've looked) so I agree. It does feel good after a victory. In my eyes, any type of win is a feel good feeling. At least I'm now able to enjoy ESPN, NFL Network etc along with any other NFL shows heading into this Redskins game. There is no such thing as a pretty regular season loss, they all hurt the same. With all that said, hopefully we perform much better against Washington.
Michael Kay asked him about it and he said it was done and that he said a lot of things he didn't want to discuss . At first he said he couldn't recall than admitted he did but it wasn't something he was going to talk about so he was pissed at someone.
Someone also mentioned, probably by being at the game, that after the TD throws he did not go to celebrate with the team and just went back to the sidelines to talk to coordinators. If that is the case, I think that is also great! He needs to take that step, where he separates himself as the true leader of the team. Yeah I threw a TD, been there done that, time to throw more, no time to get stupid happy about it and do the airplane move. I hope this is the beginning of a new Sanchez I really do... the angry, pissed off, chip on his shoulders, fck you all I'm going to tear sh1t up from now on type of QB. You can tell in his throws in that game, he was making higher risk throws, and he was making them with more confidence as opposed to checking down everything or taking a sack. I'm excited for next week, I think he will build on this performance, I hope I don't have to eat my words
that kind of fire made him go 17\35, inaccurate throws and the only reason they scored was because the Bills have a garbage secondary with backups that got lazy.
I wanna know why Sanchez was on the stationary bike at :08 left? Did he think the game was going into overtime?
I don't mind seeing him yelling at the defense and trying to be the leader of the whole team and not just the offense. If it was anything more than that, I think we would have heard more about it by now.
Could you imagine the defense yelling at Mark Sanchez after they made a stop heading into the last drive of the game? That would make for a story...
