Vick throws enough to make mistakes and he has two broken ribs.....he won't even be walking when he plays the jets
He has a full month before he plays us, im sure hell be more than healed up by then. Esp if Vince Young does decent vs the Giants, they might give him a little more time to rest
My deal is......there's only ONE "R" in Dorow. Not to mention the fact that there are ZERO "A's" in it! That might not be my ENTIRE deal, but you butchering my name ain't helpin', bub!
al darrow needs to calm down. it is probably over this year, but there are many games left to be played.
Seems like Darrow was born in the WRONG generation...BUB hahah But here's a fact. Jets will make the playoffs. We might suck...but so does the rest of the league. The 6th spot is our home. I really thought we could get the division this year but we are, after all, the New York Jets. Might as well stick with tradition and come up from the ground floor. The empire state building will be lit up GREEN & WHITE again this year !
Gotta hope Oakland and Baltimore win their divisions. We've lost too many conference games. Gotta hope Cincinnati comes back to earth so we can sneak in as the 6th seed again.
I love how so many people are counting the Bengals out. They played both the Steelers and Ravens really tough. Considering how bad we are right now, they'd shit all over us.
This is exactly what Im talking about. They dont have to win out, because nobody aside from the Ravens is going to win 10 games. If we win 10 there won't be any Wildcard tiebreakers ... Cincinnati, Buffalo, Tennesee and Denver should all win less than 10 games. The only one in that group I'm even remotely worried about is Tennessee who needs 2 more losses ... and If Tampa can beat them next week, I won't be worried about them either as long as we take care of business and win our 10. We need to finish out 5-1, and the only team we can't lose to is Buffalo. Any other loss in our remaining schedule won't make a difference.
Sums it up. You have to look at it like the Jets need to win every game the way out. 10-6 will most likely get us in, too, but that loss would probably have to come to the Eagles, the Giants, or the Redskins. I think right now, looking it through a Jets fans' eyes, we're about 45/55 to get in the playoffs. We're a game back, but I think we can go 5-1, and I'm not sold on the Bengals. They remind me a lot of the Jets: an inexperienced QB, an average running game with a power back, similar caliber receivers if you look past the names, and good defenses. We need Baltimore and Pittsburgh to both beat Cincy again. Hopefully, they drop another game, too. I'm not too worried about anyone else, but there are enough teams in the mix where if someone gets hot, it gets even dicier.
