Eli's success is a product of the team while Mark succeed inspite of some of his circumstances.

Sanchez > Eli as a quarterback in term of attributes and skills and honestly it's not even that close.

nothing bothers me more than the props that Eli gets. the onlything that separate him from a kyle orton is his running game, defense, and coaching staff

You are full of shit. Manning was and still is a far more polished QB than Sanchez, his footwork is/was better, his mechanics were very consistent, and he had better accuracy. Eli took a while to adjust to the speed and complexity of the NFL game, but in terms of skills he was far ahead of Sanchez, who also struggles picking up blitzes and coverages, but with the added problem of mediocre footwork, and mechanical inconsistencies.

It's pretty obvious at this point but there's no guarantee that the Jets have the fortitude to fire the offensive coordinator that they saddled Rex with when they hired him, even if that guy is going to bring Rex down with him in the end.

I feel like you got the 2 names backwards. Eli has been great this year. Mind you he is much older but he has shown he can put the team on his back. It is funny how similar the 2 QBs are sometimes with those head scratching ints. I don't think Mark is as awful as many here do. With as little experience he had in college he just might be one of those QBs who really doesn't put it together until season 6. Which sucks but give him a full off season with Santonio and Kerley and whoever else our wrs will be and he might be better prepared next season. One thing that cannot be denied is his work ethic.

It's no comparison even in eli's 3rd year he showed more potential than mark in his 3rd year.

How short our memories are. People absolutely hated Eli his first few years. Everytime I'd go out to watch games all I'd ever hear is complaints and that lasted up until he won the SB. Funny thing about that season was everyone was talking about Eli not being the QB for the Giants and Tom Coughlin needed to get fired.

Yep. Even the Giants have trouble with the New York Media Beast. They've just won a few Super Bowls so they have more credibility than the Jets.

John Elway would have been in the same situation if he played in NY his first three years. The only place in the country worse to play than NY is Philadelphia and that's because the Philly media blows just as much as the NY media but the fans also boo Santa Claus.

Philly is just the most awful city on the East Coast. Don't forget about the Phillies game where that fat guy stuck his fingers down his throat to make himself throw up all over a guy and his young daughter.

Are u serious - it was pretty clear to see that e. manning had more skill as a passer coming out than sanchez.

and so did rivers, ryan, stafford, and bradford to name a few.

by the THIRD YEAR?! no absolutely not. Eli wasn't even considered average till that year when he won the championship.

I'm not gonna argue against what you said. But how does that disprove from my point that Eli in year 3>>Sanchez in year 3?

Sanchez's biggest problem is he has no football Iq, he can't read coverages, clock manage, defenses, etc. Did anyone else miss yesterday where in the interview Tebow said "well at the end there they threw this coverage at me( identifying it absolutely correctly), means he is a smart Qb unlike Sanchez. Average talent and a 2 cent head will not get you far as a quarterback in the league. Also where do people get off for blaming the defense yesterday they gave up 10 freakin points its all on the offense who gave up almost as many points as the defense.

Is this a fuckin joke? Sanchez has had a great run game to take the pressure off him in years past. This year the run isn't as effective and Sanchez has played poorly.

he has also had poor OL play most of the year, most QBs w/ poor OL play and no running game will struggle.

Lol this has to be a joke Eli had thrown for at least 21 or more tds every year except his rookie year.

Eli in year 3 had 24 touchdowns

Mark is on pace for 18 this season
