Lets be real, this team doesn't have that dominating D and running game they had the last 2 years that got them in the playoffs, and if you can't see or admit that your blind, Sanchez is throwing almost 30 times a game because they CANT run the ball and sanchez isn't taking this team anywhere
So if Jets do make it to the playoff, how far do you think they will go? I don't even think they will make it that far, but just for the sake of argument, how well do you think they will do? They will lose the WC game, if they keep on making same dumb and stupid mistakes they've been making all games. On top of that, until that idiot Schottenheimer gets canned, Jets offense will NEVER carry the load. So what is the fucking point of getting to the post season? Wasn't it to win the Super bowl?
Currently behind NE by 1 1/2, 2 if they beat KC (and then effectively 3 because of the season sweep). So, the wildcard: Currently behind- Pitt Balt Cin Hou Tenn Oak Den Buff (just by 1/2 and have the head to head against them, but still). 3 of the above will be division winners (or maybe not even- sucky SD still has a chance in the AFCW), but still- a lot of teams have to fail in addition to the Jets winning in order for the Jets to make the playoffs at this point.
All i know is that the only way the jets are gonna make to the playoffs is if they win all of the 6 games we have

the amount of outside help the Jets need from other teams has grown too large i fear for them to make the post season. Besides the division losses, the conference losses are there too, it's not a good situation right now. Running the table is asking alot for any team, couple that with needing other teams to tank as well and you've got where the Jets are at right now. No bueno across the boardo.
they're not making the playoffs this year..which is a shame becasue the AFC is weaker this year than it has been in the past. Too many conference losses already to the teams they be fighting with tie breakers with. If they go 5-1 they're definitely not making it. Going unbeaten the rest of the way is their only chance, and from what i've seent he last 5 or 6 games they are not going to put a run like that together. Yeah I include the Bills game there, becasue at least on offense, they were the same stumbling bumbling group they've been all season. I can honestly say I think San Diego and Jax were the only decent games they've played this season.....and even SD was a half a game effort.
believe it or not, we can still make the playoffs, all those teams ahead of us have to play each other, 10-6, 9-7 will probably get us in.
amen ... finally a reasonable view. this idea that 10-6 won't get us in is ridiculous. last night was obviously a disaster so without a BIG improvement winning 10 games might not be doable. BUT ... if we do win 10 games, we're in. is Cincy winning 10? What about Buffalo? Tennessee? Denver?? exactly who is beating us out if we get our head out of our ass and go 10-6? up until the point we get our 7th loss I'll be expecting a wild card spot for the Jets. we need to be 9-6 going into the Miami game. Certainly not out of the question.

Who cares if we make the playoffs. This team isn't winning shit this year, not with Schotty calling plays, not with Eric Smith sucking it up in the secondary, not with Sanchez playing like a rookie, and not with this swiss cheese O-line getting our RBs and QB killed every game.
i agree......Were just not good and need to make serious overhauls in the offseason. so it makes no difference if we somehow run the table(IF) and make the playoffs.
