Why wouldn't he lose confidence in himself when clearly the staff's lost confidence in him? I swear it's like a vicious cycle, the more the staff browbeats and tries to put the shackles on him, the worse he gets.

And meanwhile after all the hulabaloo after Sanchez's premature timeout last week, not one word from the head coach or the media about the head coach neglecting to call one late in the first half this week. That could have been the difference between three points and none, and if the game had ever gotten to two scores, things might have played out differently.

I think Conley was trying to pin them inside the 10, but he forgot he wasn't punting from the 20.

Schotty oversaw his breakout performance in 2004 when he went to the pro-bowl. Brees was already a good QB when he went to the Saints. If all it took for a QB to be like Brees was that they have the proper coaching, then we wouldn't have so many bad QBs in the NFL, they would find a way to be coached up to that level. Some QBs are just naturally better than others, and imo talent wise, Brees and Sanchez have no busines being mentioned in the same breath.

Speaking of dumb decisions. What was the deal with that fake spike pass to Keller? What the hell was he thinking?

Sanchez was anything but shackled today, they let him hang himself with his own rope. This is the 2nd game the Jets have lost that they would've won if they did nothing on offense but not turn the ball over.

Um yeah blame Sanchez. The offense sucks as a whole in general. The defense in general gave up 7 points. Unfortunately those points came on the last drive. The defense didnt throw a pick 6 nor did it fumble a kickoff. The fact that Sanchez was what 14/16 for 90 yards. COME ON. Yes Schotty sucks, but if Sanchez cant find his first read then the play usually turns to shit. Quit defending this kid. He might be the most overrated player in the league. How this kid is in a commerial let alone like 5 of em is obsurd. He sucks, so does schotty.

    Under Cam Camerons offense

That's like giving credit to the QB coach of the Saints under Sean Payton

This defense limited the Broncos to 36 rushing yrd in the first half, and I think less than 100 rushing yards all game. This after they put up over 200+ yards in the past two games.

The Jets D did a good job adjusting to what the Broncos were doing. Yes they gave up the last drive, but I don't put the blame on them for this one. You need more from your Offense.

Nobody else is open most of the time

A lot of the time those are decoy routes

I don't see how players can come out and openly complain about this guy but people still defend him

Well in his third year under Schotty's coaching he had his breakout year going to the pro bowl and leading the chargers to a 12-4 record and finally stepped into being the player he is now.

I am not saying Schotty is some QB grooming guru. But to say that somehow Sanchez looks as bad as he does just because of Schotty doesn't make much sense to me. Brees flourished under his coaching, so either we discount coaching all together as overrated and base Brees' success on talent alone, in which case we also have to look at Sanchez the same way meaning his level of performance is an accurate picture of his potential and talent not a reflection of him simply being coached poorly. OR we can say that maybe Schotty isn't the worst coach ever and had at least some role in Brees' development in spite of him not being the brightest bulb in the box, and so Sanchez's development or lack thereof can be attributed to a combination of his talent level and coaching.

You are aware that Ravens fans hate on Cam and want him fired as much as we do with Schotty right? Maybe they have a lot in common, two OCs made to look worse than they are because of their QBs.

At this point, I really do think Shotty will be gone by the end of the year. We'll get a new OC in and Sanchez will be the QB for at least another 2 years (1 year to acclimate, another to produce). If he produces, he'll be here for a while.

Point being, I really believe Sanchez isn't going anywhere, but I have to think common sense will kick in and Shotty will be canned at years end. If we don't make the playoffs (which seems HIGHLY unlikely), I think Shotty will be the fall guy, and rightfully so.
