Sure, Sanchez played poorly. but Schottenheimers game plan was completely brain dead and he never adjusted ever. Let's run 5 wides over and over while the OL cant stop a middle aged hot dog vendor. McCourty goes down and we only throw against him twice. Schottenheimer is an incompetent loser that drags down the entire offense. He needs to be fired right now.
Sanchez looked impressive against the the worst passing d in football. I thought i saw the cashier at wall-mart making plays for the pats.
We managed to make the worst defense in the league look like the fucking 85 bears. They won't fire him now, but I fully expect him to be gone after this season.
the worst D in the league also took out Keller just like they always do. Point is, the Pats reminded us that this is a divisional games and divisional games are usually tough no matter what because the teams are always so familiar with each other.
He's only overrated in NY. The rest of the country knows he's mediocre. I Know, I know, two AFC championship games in a row. With the talent you had on that team the last two years, with a good QB you would have at least one ring. How can you people not see it? Schotty looks bad because he knows the many limitations of his QB.
Wow I was agreeing with you somewhat until you blame Schotty's shortcomings on Sanchez. Maybe this is why we defend our QB when we see the lack of adjustments in our offensive game plan, see better plays from a no huddle, etc. Also who do you suppose we get to play QB over Sanchez? I'd love to hear an alternative...
No, Schotty is made to look even worse than he actually is because of Sanchez. When Favre or Pennington was our QB under schotty our offense never looked this bad, and in those years we never had the kind of weapons we do now.
I agree he's the best you have. By the time he's ready and the Jet's concentrate their drafting on the offense, the D will be getting old.
No, shotty looks bad because he is a terrible OC. He doesn't base his offense on the strengths of his players or on the weaknesses of his opponents. He is predictable, and not clever. He should have been fired years ago.
If it wasn't for the Defense carrying the team the previous two years we never would have made it to the AFCC games.
At least someone else has some common sense on here. The playcalling is indicative of Sanchez skillset and a ability.
