I haven't watched it yet but to be fair Holmes would do that pointing and dropping the ball celebration thing after a first down if we were down by 30 in the 4th..
It's also very unoriginal. Freddie Mitchell gave himself that nickname like seven years ago. Jackson did kind of punk Bart Scott at 1:08 though.
Love that you caught the ball for a first down Tone. Hate that you have to do that shit EVERY SINGLE TIME. It's annoying.
My favorites are when he does it while the ref is in the shot standing behind him waiting for him to drop it so he can pick it up.
i hated when Roy Williams did it, I don't like when Santonio does it Do it in a big spot, not every fucking time
I could care less if he does it every time, because when he's doing it, it means we're getting first downs.
people hate the santonio 'first down' thing, because of the 45-3 patriots game. we were losing by about 2-3scores, or something in the 3rd, and holmes did it. who cares? he was questioned by reporters as to why he did it, and holmes said, "i wanted to spark my teammates." im okay with that. is it cheesey, or whatever? yeah sure, but who cares. players dance all over the field when they make tackles..not even sacks. its good to know players have pulses. i was just bashing Jackson, because he got his ass kicked that entire game.
I love the Santonio first down thing, I am sure it gets under the skin of the other team and that's a good thing. But that fred jackson video was so stupid, they cut the film in a way to make it seem as though he had a good game and was bringing the bills back into the game (showing the sanchez int almost towards the end of the video).
