Woodhead lost his offensive touches to Stevan Ridley. He's a paper weight now. GTFO with your asinine opinions.
Combined stats for last year and this year: McNight: 49 rushes, 215 yards, 4.3 average, 0 TD's Woodhead: 127 rushes, 669 yards, 5.3 average, 6 TD's How is that an asinine opinion?
uhhh..Woodhead has 122 rushing yards and 0 TDs in 2011 I don't give a fiddler's shit about last year's stats. Keep trying though.
What are just the stats for this year? also didn't McNight run a kickoff back so he is missing a TD in your info. A 40+ kickoff average is pretty good if that holds up it will be close to the NFL record.
McKnight has 26 yards on 10 carries for an average of 2.6 per carry and 0 rushing TD's. His longest run from scrimmage is 5 yards. McNight has a grand total of 6 kickoff returns in his 2 year career. Don't you think that 40-yard average is a little skewed by 1 long TD return?
No he is onto something, if you look at this JA's 50 thousand useless posts on JI, I am sure you will find 4-5 that weren't designed to troll. So take them out he will have a perfect record. They are statistical outliers.....
Obviously, ESPN does a poor job updating stats. http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/13209/joe-mcknight
Not to me, I saw the stats you wrote and my BS alarm went full tilt. You should have known that McKnight was leading the league in return yards because it is all over the press how he was the NFL special teams player of the month. As for Woodhead he is having a bad year so far. The comparison of the players is not really fair because McNight was a rookie and Woodhead was a 3rd year player last year. Yes they were the last players on the roster but McNight has by far the best overall potential of the two.
Obviously, you made a dumb ass mistake and posted his punt return stats instead of his kick return stats.
You cant honestly tell me the Patriots would rather have Woodhead then McKnight??? no coach in the league would take Woodhead over McKnight man
mcnite is gonna be stellah baby. he isnt a scrappy over achieving player like a woodhead/edelman/chrebet/welker. he looks different than them..
Brad Smith has been replaced by Joe McKnight. He was worthless at receiver. Shaun Ellis has been replaced by Muhammed Wilkerson. The beginning of a very important youth movement up front. Braylon Edwards has not been replaced, but Plaxico Burress is only a stop-gap at the position. Do this fan base a favor and give your season tickets to someone that actually knows something about this team.
I say from now on the Jets give contracts to players based only on their past and how likeable they are
