Let us know how Kyuss are. I absolutely love Sky Valley and Circus but I worry how they will sound without the musical genius that is Josh Homme.

Could be the last chance you'll get to see Kyuss for a long time as well if Oliveri goes down. That guy is a fucking lunatic.

Love this post. I remember the first time I ever saw a Metallica shirt. I'm guessing it was 1984 or so and one of the heshers at my HS has a Metal up Your Ass shirt on in the cafeteria.

FF a few years later. I saw Metallica on The MOR tour at the Meadowlands. They fucking destroyed the place. As soon as they came on people began jumping from the stands onto the field which lead to the biggest mosh pit I've ever seen; it covered about half of the field. They were incredible.

The next time I saw them - at the Orange County Speedway in Middletown on the Justice tour -- they killed. Top two or three live performances I've ever seen.

I later saw them on the load tour at the Capital Centre in Maryland. They were flat. Terrible show.

You're so right. Cliff would be appalled.

I'm sure Kyuss sounds fine without Homme, they're more about being fucking heavy than they are about technical precision. I just don't think they'd be able to create new music of the same quality without him.

Heard through the grapevine Slayer closed with "Angel of Death" the other day. Must have been fucking great.

I saw Earth Crisis, Terror and Shai Hulud at Terminal 5 a couple of years ago. Great place for a show!!

The opening band, Monstro or whatever, they were... an opening band but one that you actually listen to. The Sword was good and Kyuss killed it. It was an awesome show.

I had Ritual stuck in my head all day. Cool song. It's dark and evil, yet somehow i can see it being played while Scooby, shaggy and the gang run from room to room while being chased by the bad guy.

Just got back from Death Angel/Testament/Anthrax. Anthrax was really good, testament was awesome. Death Angel, who i was really looking forward to were a big disappoinment. I don't know any of their newer music, but apparently they have turned into a screaming mess. They played 1 song i knew,Seemingly endless time. No guilty of innocense, no BORED? WTF?

Seemingly Endless Time is a great tune.

I am still amazed at how good Joey Belladonna's voice sounds after all these years, finally got around to watching my Big Four DVD from Bulgaria the other day and was impressed with Anthrax.

I saw Anthrax on the WCFYA tour in Worcester. Great show. I'm not surprised they're equally good with Belladonna.
