He can't block for shit. He has made a lot of bad off the field decisions that lead to missing additional time on top migraines that kept him out of about half the games he was eligible to play. Not a very bright guy either so I am not sure how much he will help with the playbook especially given how long ago that he was cut.
Every Bills fan was glad when Maybin was cut. Kinda got a kick out of it when the Jets cut him once too, lol. I'm sure you can understand where I am coming from as a Jets fan who endured the Gholston debacle.
Actually the old Bills never resigned the talent they developed. They just locked up Fitz and Williams and are working on extending Jackson and Johnson. The team is young and has been built through the draft. They don't bring in overpriced free agents.
Not really sure what your talking about. Jackson is 31 and Fitzpatrick who I love is on the older side. I would like to know what young players that you have.
Part of the reason you don't bring in "overpriced" free agents is that your team is located in Buffalo. As for your team being young, that's not entirely true. Many of your starters are 28 or older (including 3 of the players you mentioned as getting new deals).

He is only 28. We are developing plenty of young talent. The fact is that Maybin sucked and got pancaked every play. I have seen his sacks. Two of them were the QB holding on to the ball too long and Maybin chasing him down from behind. The most recent one he was unevaded to the QB and had a 1 on 1 with a RB. He still has not beat a legit LT for a sack yet. He still can't play anything but passing 3rd down plays. Don't cum your pants. The FO knew he was fast when he cut him. That is the only attribute he has showed as a Jet thus far.
Shawn Nelson sucks too. The only memory of him I have as a Bill is him fumbling away our victory in Overtime against the Ravens last year.
He is nothing special until I see that. Dwight Freeny, Clay Matthews, Jared Allen, Julius Peppers. Those are pass rushers. Maybin is nothing but an oversized safety. Not a pass rush specialist.
You can be a pass rush specialist without being the four greatest players in the league at it. He gets to the QB, 4 sacks and 3 FF. I think that's pretty effective for barely playing more than a dozen snaps.
I haven't even heard of half of those guys. I guess thats something that can only happen if you put on a Jets uniform. No one claimed him to be the next DWare, but 4 sacks and 3 forced fumbles in a handful of plays for a player Jets gave up nothing for is great (besides the league minimum he is probably making).

Even if Maybin only becomes a situational pass rusher it was still a solid signing by us and a bad move for the Bills.
