I'm pretty happy how this worked out. Now, if Kerley has a good night on Monday then there'll be no looking back, just looking forward!
By the way, he has to catch 33 passes for the Texans this season, for the Jets to get that big 7th rounder so we should root for him to play well.
I didn't care much about Derrick Mason when we got him and I still don't. Personally I'd rather have Anthony Mason to knock some motherfuckers out.
Throw in he'd probably just shave the Jets logo into the side of his head and not wear a helmet to show it off.
Sorry, but I though Mason was a sure-handed pickup by the Jets, a useful third WR. Even more so when Plax dropped anything and everything last week. I would have liked Mason to have taken his chance, particularly as we are thin at that position. It's a shame he turned out to be a locker-room dickhead.
A proud alumnus of my high school, Springfield Gardens High School, although a year or two after me. I also remember watching him play at the West 4th Street courts during the 1980-1990s. He was a man among boys.
Good ole Springfield high Eagles man huh? I remember seeing him throw a chest pass from baseline to baseline.PPL talked about Oakley being strong. This dude was an animal. He would be a beast on our D-Line. As for Mason,I was hoping there was a silver lining in this trade.Damn the pick.I was hoping he would be a jerk and completely take shots publicly at Schotty.
1 catch for 7yds today despite the Texans getting 41 points - this 7th rounder is looking more remote by the game
In this day and age of tanking for a high DP, is there any doubt that Mason won't reach that threshold? The Jets ain't getting shit outta that deal except dumping a malcontent.
addition by subtraction. Kerley adds speed, while mason's rascal scooter could barely get out of first gear
