Ive had IV:Oblivion game of the year edition with all the add ons. I've been so damn busy I'm just NOW playing Oblivion trying to knock it out before Skyrim comes out. Now I know what people meant when they said the new Fallout under Betheseda is Oblivion with Guns. in a good way. Anyone else waiting for this?
I've heard great things about it, so I tried to play Oblivion before I dig into this. I couldn't get into Oblivion too much. The graphics sucked and that was a big no-no for me. I hope I can get into Skyrim because I heard it's going to be absolutely amazing. I'll definitely get it on gamefly. If I don't like it, no loss...
Gotta beat Deus Ex and Arkham City. Then I have to beat Uncharted 3. Then Battlefield and Modern Warfare 3. Holy shit this month is nuts for gaming.
Still have to beat Assassin's Creed II. Still haven't finished Story Mode in Mortal Kombat. Still have to beat BioShock II. Skyrim, Dark Souls and Arkham City are all on deck.
oblivion sucked ass because of level scaling. so stupid. practically defeated the purpose of an otherwise very good game they changed skyrim to more like a fallout 3 type of level scaling, which wasn't bad and didn't run the experience
Wow I haven't heard of this game in awhile, I bought it a long time ago when I was younger and it was actually pretty good. I'll be checking it out .
it's better than fallout in terms of the atmosphere. i liked the graphics better more in Oblivion than i did either of the fallouts. Bethesda games all have the same basic feel but i like the overall environment of Oblivion better. Of course that has a lot to do with the general darkness and desolation of a post apocolyptic world in Fallout 3 and Fall Out New Vegas
Elder Scrolls games are better. Oblivion is close to being as good as Fallout 3 and NV, I think Skyrim will be way better. And I love Fallout.
Do yourself a favor and buy Fallout 3: Collectors Addition. It's well worth the 20 bucks or whatever the price is now. TRUST ME Also, get the PC version if possible so you can mod it:up:
yeah, BioWare kills Bethesda. Just more polished, cleaner and better games overall. but Skyrim looks pretty awesome
