What injury did Henandez have, was it a knee/ankle/leg thing?

Does anyone know if he is going to play? Bc that could change a decent amount in the game...

He's supposed to play, but a receiver coming off a leg injury early isn't often effective- that's why I asked. - Googled- MCL injury. Not so good for him.

If he does play... it could be good for us though.

That kid is a train wreck of injuries and he's only 21. He is going to be a cripple by the time he's 30.

Yeah, I wonder about the pats team doctors. I know I've seen Welker and Woodhead take concussion shots in games, yet the pats doctors never seem to take them out of games.

I hope they don't end up holding drool cups.

That's a large overstatement. He's had one significant injury for which he had surgery in the off-season. A grade 1 MCL strain is not a big deal.

 I suppose you're thinking that with Hernandez AND Gronkowski playing, the Jets defense will have an automatic excuse, and nobody will notice how bad Sanchez plays unless he throws more pick sixes.

They don't take them out because their toughness whiteness and scrappiness won't let them

He's been in the nfl for a year and in both seasons has missed games because of injuries and had to have hip surgery in the offseason.

    Not really an overstatement.

Who's going to hold Sanchez's cup? The guy has been hit more times this year than Rihanna.

Really? I must have never paid attention to that because I always assume they get the ball first to score and take pressure off their defense.

Regardless, my point is still the same. Getting behind today could turn into a nightmare for the Jets. Especially if you start relying on Schotty to have to think of doing something other than running the ball (and letting the turnover machine throw the ball)..

Give me a break. Missing a couple of games is NOT the same thing as being a cripple by age 30.

Its his knee. The latest is that while he's practiced the last 3 days, he's been "limited". Most Pats fans are surprised he's this close to playing. We all thought he'd be gone until after the bye. So right now its being called 50-50, a game time decision.

It will be a big help if he plays, but I wouldn't be unhappy if he sits until he's absolutely 100% He's an asset the Pats need for the long haul
