    Meh, Nova did ok in the 2nd, had to throw alot of pitches...but its game 5 no messin around and Hughes stuff looked great in his last appearance so it was a decent move.

    Bad move. Logan hasn't gone more than 4 outs all year.
    Hughes looked like he was able to go a few more.

    Is there really a need to discuss? Obviously overmanaging. Ridiculous. Hughes gave up a hit. Big whoop. Avila, of course, gets his first hit of the series off Logan. Hughes could have done that. Unreal.

    It's not like they can't hit Fister. For Christ's sake, let Hughes try to get through 1-2 more innings.

    It worked (in the sense that the Tigers didn't score), but good lord, you don't HAVE to use everybody in the pen.

    It's most likely PBC right now but IMO, Girardi fucked up by pulling Hughes so fast.

    Can't believe they're going to unnecessarily use Sabathia here.

    Well, maybe "necessary" now... kind of... maybe... but it wasn't if you just left Hughes in.
